one week free, but second week chargeable. I suspect you are promoting your own hotel.
  • Planning a surprise trip for my husband's 40th in April next year, would ideally like to take him to the Lakes in a 4 star hotel for 2 nights with breakfast. Nearly had a heart attack when I saw the prices, looks like it might have to be 1 night unless I can find a good bargain.

We enjoy walking, so buying him an OS gps for walkers and a nice watch with compass/altitude/etc, so not a total cheapskate ;)

Hi. Is it me? Just me? I've had a quick look at the Campanile offer. There are 31 days in December and about 20 hotels around the UK. Unless someone knows a quicker way?? I can't justify the time checking every date at every hotel. Can anyone?
  • It seems every hotel I check says "Does Not Offer the 1GBP rate"

We have just booked on line a night at the Premier Inn in Grantham.

The announced deal says a 2 night sstay is required but we got the £29 rate for 1 night only.

Perhaps they have changed the deal or its a web site error. however I have the printout proof for the booking, so as far asI am concerned that is the cost:beer:

Yes I have just done the same for one night in Dover and have printed it out and had the charge of £44 with brekkie so I cant see that it has to be a minimum 2 nights.

I picked the Milton Keynes one, put a couple of dates in for Dec and Jan, no £1 offers came up - all £25, got bored after that, as couldn't be bothered searching numerous hotels at numerous dates, if I couldnt even find an offer at the one hotel!!!!
Is a sufferer of SAD, so don't blame me, blame the depressing English weather!!!

check it out. we just booked a weekend away, £150 between two, includes full english and dinner.
  • Being a bit persistant ( probably sad ) I have checked everyday form 1/12-31/1 on this offer under the location of England. It would seem that I've missed the boat. Oh well...best I keep a closer eye on moneysaver
  • This is rubbish and annoying, just got the newsletter promoting £1 deal, though none of the Campanile hotels in England seem to be offering it.

'Campanile has 10,000 rooms available for just £1 per room per night for stays from December 1st to January 31st. So give everyone a break and enjoy the holiday season in style by staying at any of our 19 Campanile hotels and restaurants across the UK.'
