I used to have UPVC windows in my old house and used car tyre cleaner from the pound shop (I'm trying to remember how I discovered this!). It really works! I told my mum about this and she didn't believe me until she tried it. Now that's all she uses. Its the foamy stuff, not the spray btw.0

I bought some wipes in B & Q for cleaning pvc garden furniture. They are called Minkies and did an excellent job on my window frames.0

I have used Astonish oven and hob cleaner for years and mine are still as good as new. I get lots of black tyre marks on my front door off the kids bikes and this takes all that off tooStart by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible:j

I have made a bit of a blunder and put bleach onto my pvc window sills and forgot to remove it. It has left a brown stain, any ideas on how to get rid of this anyone?
Thanks in advance.0 -
I have just tried nail varnish remover to clean my upvc front door. It really works. I had some marks that I couldn't remove when I used other stuff like stardrops. The nail varnish remover removes everything straight away, even the shoe marks which had been there for years.
I will clean the rest tomorrow. Will have to wear washing up gloves as it is drying my hands out. This stuff also leaves a shine behind which is great.
Good tip guys ...... thanks....
I might try the toothpaste next time, but for now nail varnish remover is a great upvc cleaner....Smile loan - £2821.98 / £0:)

Can anyone advise what to use to get rid of a nasty stain on my upvc window frame please? I was over-run with ants and used a spray without thinking - seems is has giving the window frame a rather fetching brown stain now :-(
Any ideas much appreciated, thanks in advance!0
