Toto - I'm sure you didn't offend anyone. Sorry to hear your DD is so poorly, glandular fever is the pits, my little one had it last year and it took her so long to get over it but she got there eventually and has more than made up for the lack of food......Hope she's feeling better soon.
As for my comment this morning, I really do hope that people don't feel the need to carry on apologising for mentioning running. I've been less and less inclined to post on the thread as I have only one thing in common with most of you and it seems to be the one thing that no one really talks about....debt....maybe I've lost sight of what the threads about.
Anyway, lovely to see some lurkers come out of "lurkdom" today - keep it up....it's lonely out here
Pookie I think some of us use this thread to escape from the talk of debt IYSWIM although the topic is brought up and discussed regularly.
WE can do serious, helpful, friendliness, moaning, rude (mainly Lenny), support, practical advice.........
It's great here:jBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Mentioning Crunchies. Its Mrs P's birthday today, I have just iceed a cake ( I had to buy it BB, no time ) and I am now scraping the leftover icing out of the bowl and into my face .....with a Crunchie......Ooooh Yesss!

Afternoon all! Been dipping in and out today - but just to reiterate - if you want to gass about running pop on over to the thread (or carry on here whatever really)
I feel good today - sorry everyone else is feeling bluergh - I am in love and its spring and its sunny (oh and I am like this most of the time - sooz if the cheeryness is annoying
) - I have debt but I'm working on get rid of it (trips to New York aside) and with the help of this site I am doing it much more cleverly than before
Right enough talking rubbish back to work now!0 -
Ooooh crunchies! I'm starving and could murder a crunchie (or any chocoalte to be fair!) But I've got the Drs in a bit and don't wanna be sick *smear test - yuk!* so I'll wait til I get back before I munch! Have just scrubbed my kitchen cupboards to within an inch of their life and found loads of stuff I didn't know I had - I even had to throw some out of date stuff out.... and I'm talking '07 stuff:eek: So plenty to eat now, and a couple of weeks of small shopping bills too

so you bunch of munchers!!!!
what are y'all having for lunch then!?!?! i reeeaaaly wanna know!!
aside from nachos, cheapie noodles, a stale sandwich and the licking of a bowl of icing washed down with 1 or 2 crunchies! (and you ask us why you might be feeling a bit podgy me Pepe!!)I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
I have just iceed a cake ( I had to buy it BB, no time )
loving the fact you feel the need to apologise :rotfl:
Icing it is a skill in itself. I'm pants at icing, haven't got the patience really so any cake I ice has a kind of rustic abstract look to it - ie chuck it on and see how it looks!!
I don't feel I'm keeping up with myself. The dough is in the breadmaker and all my paperwork is sorted for tonight. Washing up is the next thing to tackle and by then the dough should be ready so I can make the pizza to take with me. Then pack everything I need etc. I also need to iron an apron before I go.

I have managed to link my iPod up to the computer, download a couple of albums from the iTunes store, transfer about 10 of my CDs onto it, and set up the Nike thingy.
Next thing is to work out whether or not you can download music from other websites (ie Amazon etc) and put those on it. And if so, how. Anyone?
