Thanks for the lovely welcome peeps.

I have been a good girl today. Called most of my various money-takers and got my renewal dates and contract ends, looks like May's going to be a busy month for switching providers!

Managed to reduce my Orange tariff from £40 a month to £30, which makes me happy. Was asked if I wanted to cancel my insurance policy as my contract runs out on 5th May, but am still thinking it over. Any advice? I tend to fret without insurance policies but when I think of the money they've cost me over the last year it feels like money down the drain.

RAC and Pipex's customer service departments weren't open this evening, so must remember to call them tomorrow from work.

Oh and I signed up for Quidco, so when changing all these contracts over in May I should make a decent amount of cashback.

Not bad for day one! :D

Hope you've all had a good day, and congratulations to MogChops on your great news!

    Thanks for the advice Tallie!

I think I will dump it. It's only £6 a month, but £25 as a phone bill seems so much more attractive than £31.

Worst comes to the worst and I'm phoneless, I'll have to get a PAYG brick! hehehe
