    Mortgage-free Glee!
Don't know what to say...it all seems too fast.

Is it the house here being valued? Who for?

And far far far more importantly, how are you bearing up?

Nobody is here waiting for you to fail, there will be more people reading than will ever post. I think I was reading the forum for a couple of months before I ever posted myself. If the trolls ever show up they will get chased off with a big stick quickly by all the regular posters.

I agree with Chev, make sure your OH looks after you and your family first. Hope everything goes OK today

  • Hi there. I just read through about 20 pages of your diary. Just want to wish you lots of luck. All you can do at the minute is take things as they come and keep going. I have had major changes in my financial situation recently too and know how difficult it is. This is the best place to be for encouragement and advice though so rock on and chin up xx

That is the last thing I would wish on you and your family.

I am so sorry that everything has come to this.

The state of the country and the economy is a disgrace and its the innocent hard grafters, like you and I and everyone else who is suffering.

If it is all too late, as you say regarding the company, then now is the time to ignore that for a day or two and look at yourselves and what needs to be done to keep you afloat personally.

Is the house valuation to release some equity for yourselves or the company? As others have said is it worth getting further into debt for a business that is no more? I think now at this stage any borrowing should be for personal relief.

But first things first, you sound completely frazzled. Please, please take a couple of hours to yourself. Read a book, take a walk through a park, go to a museaum or gallery. Anything, as long as it doesn't involve figures and money. If you carry on the way you are, you are going to be no good to anyone. None of us want to see anyone fail but we also don't want to see burnout.

Step away from the pc, step away from the pc.

    Take care
