Well just updated some totals... and really pleased that since nov 08 when i started acknowledging and tracking the debt we have paid off £33,939 off our cc and loan debt - it was 146K and is now 119K so thats a great improvement. to get it under 100K is my next target, maybe by the end of the year if we are lucky? Ebay totals up a little too!
i am finally seeing the result of the not spending [well only tiny bit in comparison with my mamouth spending previously] and the monitoring of the debt and seeing it slowly slowly reduce does keep me motivated.
    how we all doing?

  • That is awesome. It really is.

This will keep you motivated, just think in your old days, you wouldnt have paid off nearly £34K but may have actually added on £34K.

    Feel better?

    Hope so.

You have done SO well - it's amazing! I'm sure that you'll have it sub 100K by the end of the year.

Re little spend...would it help it I told you I just tallied up all spends on food shops and eating out and they amounted to erm....over £200.....that's just my spending not even looked at OH's bank statements  OMG  Now seriously need to get back on track....I feel bad :o

I am for sure. Tighter than a duck's butt.

As I have said before, I wish I had been more frugal when I was younger and looking back now, whenever I got paid, I never knew how much I had spare to treat me or anything and before I knew it, I'd have spend over a £100 and be back in my OD.

Thank heavens for Martin Lewis. A true saint. Arise Sir Martin for I salute your money savvy ness.
