Hi Mrscmr, so glad you got the car sold, what a relief! When i first started reading your diary and your plans to have all your debt cleared by 2013 i thought it would have been impossible. Now i think you just might pull it off!!! The amount you have cleared already is amazing!!:j Well done.
Just wanted to ask if your investment property is on a repayment mortgage. We have a property that we rent out but the mortgage is interest only. Am considering changing to a repayment type but not sure what to do? Thanks

Hi all viewers, posters, and lovely peeps
its morning... actually i have a head ache but i suspect that is to do with not much sleep and being awake at 5.30am getting a wasp out of the bedroom.!.
well i have my 2 months work plus ++++ i have a guarenteed 1 day a week on a longterm basis which will really help!
@happytobedebtfree... omg now everyone thinks i am kerry - no and i would never ever ever ever entertain that dreadful scabby husband of hers. why cant she see it? u r v welcome to come and interview me and sell my story - i suspect no one would read it !!! ha ha u funny xx
@ WABL - yes we have dumped 32.5k of debt since nov 08 - so 6 months. maybe we can dump another load - once our loans/credit comes under 100K i will be dancing. As for investment property - we are on 2 yrs interest only which ends this dec and then we go onto repayment. currently the mortgage is covered by income so there is no pain. also we pay the mortgage once a year but thats all well and good but bit worrying when we come to the end of year - have to make sure the money is there. where is ur property?
so everyone - im working proper paid work today. plus ebay parcel day again, plus listing more on ebay. oh and i may as well confess now cos you will suss me out next week - im trying to book 2 nights at butlins. yes i know i shouldnt but its 1/2 term.
have a super day all.

Wow; just found your thread.
Have a question: are you seriously saying you can afford to pay off £742k worth of debt in 4 years?! Am I the only one to spot this and marvel at your luck in earning such high salaries that you can afford to pay off an average £185.5k worth of debt per year? Wow!0 -

I thought I may have got it wrong, so to speak. But yes, you are right that it is good to get the debt down, whatever the amount and income. Lovely supportive tone on this thread; it's great. xx0 -
Yes we need a supportive group because the journey is long and hard and we all get down even if we clear 5 k nothing is ever right until the balance is zero it can be a torturous journey (is that spelt correct) anyway ive just updated my diary and jotted down all my targets ......

afternoon all
@happytobe... too kind! thanks - and ur spelling is impressive i think!
@lunar - sounds grim but yes our debt is that bad. i know that we have paid off a big chunk in the last 6 months and now those payments can be redirected at the rest. we will have to see how the next 12 months goes. but the key is we are not adding to the debt - we are facing it and dealing with it. and if by 2013 we have not cleared it - i will be happy to be left with about 300k debt relatively speaking!
bye for now - its crazy time here... and thanks for popping in and having a read!
bye
