there is one word for my car.... expensive and i hate it.
OH car was at 36K once.... ha haha hahahaha and he had 2 cars...
funny everyone gone all quiet.. guessing lots of people passed out on the floor...
If you sold your car would it clear the 21,796 in full?
Which card has the highest int rate?
We had always had a little bit of HP now and again (like a van loan) but were never in massive debt at all until then.
I passed out on the floor when we hit crunch time in Jan 05 and sat down and totted it all up. @ Peak about 160k and now all gone We still have a bit of CC outstanding on 0% and, if pushed could clear it tomo but really need to keep every penny in the business at the mo as some biggish stuff going on that needs as much cashflow as poss.
We moved, changed our life and started to chip away at it. It wasn't until I got the pesky dam cards onto 0% late 2006/07 that I really saw the results on those.
The loans finished and it freed up more to throw at cards.
We really went for it all in a massive way in 2007 and became seriously MSE in every way to save every last penny. Did have the luck of getting back bank charges which wiped out the overdraft though.
Closing our shop and surrendering the lease cost 26k last year and I had it in hand to send to LL....otherwise we would have savings now. I love that word...we always used to have them too ...untill about 2003.
And as each card settled, it felt soooo good.
When do the loans finish?0 -

In your position I would be interested to know what it is worth anyway - even if you didn't get back the value of the loan - the amount it will depreciate in the next few years - you could still be quids in....
Part of your "recovery" from overspending versus income could be to let people in behind the mask and say prada gone, rolex gone, tag watch gone, expensive cars gone... ordinary cars in play at ordinary prices. If you can go to primarni......
Please don't feel I am judging you.... as I am sure that compared to your then income it seemed reasonable at the time.... I think it might help to think about your relationship with money in the same way that an athelete who becomes disabled needs to redefine their relationship with their body and any past awards won.... While you focus on the metaphorical outdated trophy shelf you miss out on creating your new life post lightbulb! Hope that helps
Hugs again Your honesty is very brave and you have now been taking concerted action to deal with this for a prolonged period now. You have a lot to congratulate yourself for....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I am nearly in tears, just had 3 of my Ebay listings pulled (have posted on Ebay thread) for selling England clothing, lots of other sellers are selling it, now my Business account is up s**t creak without a paddle, I was on Medium for Policy Compliance when the first two were pulled, I haven't checked it yet since the last one was pulled, I just don't believe it. Apparenly Umbro complained, do they have all the rights to the word England now?
My heart is pounding.
Were they 'copies' of Umbro or the real thing from a wholesaler or were they your own design/make?
A main point in copyright is 'confusion to the customer' and the law about changing 5 things sort of holds unless the customer cannot tell the fake from the real thing. Hard to prove though.
I will confess to checking Ebay as we have had copies of my brand on there.....currently have some at the mo which she hasn't removed despite my reporting but she removed the tag saying 'same as *brand* but cheaper ''() and I am now prepping a legal letter to her. If she doesn't remove then then I will threaten to sue her for breach of copyright. She doesn't seem to realise that making exact copies is against the law.
I did have a very large supplier copy of something we did last year and there about 30 sellers of the item on Ebay at the time and all got pulled when I reported the copyright breach. Some even linked to my own work to show the customer how identical it was.
You may find the brand has put someone onto Ebay and they are just clicking report item on anything similar...so you could appeal if your product is different. Hope that helps?0 -
sh.... sorry to say that the most if not all of the good stuff has gone on ebay!
