Dear Son's all bought and paid for and that is all I care about this year. Am planning on going out tomorrow to shop for turkey and sprouts and sherry and gin. I don't know why it used to take me weeks to prepare for Christmas before, it's only ONE day!! It's great what being skint and exhausted can do for you, ha ha.

glad your parents helped out - I haven't done any cards yet this year - will for MIL and direct neighbours I think to avoid offence but otherwise not doing this year. Glad you got your shopping sorted. I was going to nip out tonight - but as I drove up our road - my car slid on the ice so I have decided to stay in instead! That will probably save me money too - does mean we have no bread tho - but we haven't had any all week so I am sure we will survive a bit longer LOL
