Hi MrsCMR!!!!! Well done on the no spend in JLP. Whenever I go to JLP, I never ever see anything I want to buy. Except for bed linen and towels in the sale..... and then if the sale is on and I don't go, then so be it. I must be immune to the lure of JLP.

F&P, utterly sound words of advice. My biggest pain is the evil MBNA card. Its the one I went wild with and used like a debit card. Not no more! Have not spent on it in months - that's one in the eye for them. Well, not really! Though my £11k balance on it has now been split up and moved around and now its only £4k.... so I think that is where my stash of lovely £2coins will go.

I know I'm going back a page or two... but in relation to the throwing things... about 24 years ago my now exhusband threw a single at the wall and it stuck in at an angle... (didn't break )

It was a premonition! he did 13 years later after getting someone else pregnant and leaving me with loads of debt ( now paid off)

Just thought I'd give you a bit of a giggle at how apt the throwing and song was together.. hehe

Well done on JL no spend! I understand what you mean when you feel sad. I saw a woman in a really nice car today and in mine which is becoming more battered by the day and just thought I can't get another car for at least 5 years, and it's all my own stupid fault

Think you should go for the Molly Maid, if you like cleaning then why not get paid for it? You can try and see if you like it.

where is everyone??? its bit lonely and quiet in here today...
did a massive ebay trawl around house and am quite hopeful. keen to get in loft but not sure a. how to dangle self from ladder and open hatch b. what spiders will be up there waiting to attack me c. what treasure are up there if any.

oh and its the season for spiders as big as saucers at the moment... 3 dead spiders over night ... thanks to cat! just had to hover up the bodies! RIP spiders x
