well been to post my ebay stuff and have another batch to do.

got to have a 'nasty' phone call tomorrow re: something i didnt do that I should have done :-( only self to blame

spent last hour or so matching socks, 2 x bathtime and homework supervising in the stylee of a sargent major!

spent most of afternoon feeling sick in tummy after adding up the figures actually wonder what have i acheived in the last 10 months if anything? debt is now bigger than when i started due to having to borrow more :-( :-(

I HAVE TO GET ON TOP OF THIS AND FIX

also realised that one of my self managed dmp with egg has damaged my credit rating so im thinking of ending that agreement and paying in full somehow. used to have a 999 rating and too ashamed to put what it is now.

have a good evening all x

  • Poor you - what a downer after all your hard work. Your main mortgage must be an immense amount to find on its own each month, so no wonder you're struggling.

I noticed the jobs you said you'd applied for, and seem to remember from an earlier post that you said you previously did something techie, maybe IT related? Could you not get back into that sort of thing again, or is childcare, general running of home an issue if you were to take that on again?

Only you sound so sparky and savvy, you've got to be a good hire for someone, and there must be some openings out there still? My husband, also an IT guy, has been approached to take on some contracting, and we're seriously considering it, as whilst it's not "secure", unlike his current thang, it's seriously good money whilst it's there, and lots he knows have ended up with good long contracts. Could you possibly consider something like that, even just for a few months?

Maybe you need to set your sights higher? It can't be any harder than the way you're currently juggling, maybe?

Sympathise with your early evening - I've had similar but all now fed and watered and doing homework or playing football, so grabbing some sneaky MSE whilst I can

    Take care

good evening mrs R - how is the world with u this fine day?

well mortgage is currently 1850 per month - [currently on a holiday till nov] but its better than the 2900 it used to be when the rates were through the roof! we have a v good mortgage luckily for us!

yes spent long time in IT, prob is the kids - child #3 still small and i need to work around school times and be local. with OH away i need to be near the smalls and dont want to farm them off to childminder. i have been freelance long long time and like that - i have some ideas but people see my cv and put me in a box and then if i want to apply for something little lower down the scale they write me off as they say im over qualified.. darn i just WANT A JOB!

oh and btw I am every employers dream employee!!! i am a little out of touch compared to how techy i used to be but i guess its like riding a bike. but also my confidence is not sooo great these days really - i lack belief in self.

im ebaying and organising this evening...

hope u all have a good eve out there... x

  • OI OI OI OI get in the naughty corner, do not ever ever ever tell your self off for adding to your debt hell fire you have overcome so horrendous hurdles and if you hadnyt we could have been talking bankrupt no home so slap that wrist and bloooming smile young lady :D
Number 2 we are getting serious about crunching them numbers my friends do not beat yourself up ever ever ever im proud of you and all that you have done, it takes a strong person to recognise debt and deal with what you have had to i cant say i have the same problems as you and am quite lucky that we can start reducing soon :D .... you have beautiful healthy children you have a wonderful husband who you have been a rock for and your son has made you have a better farmville than me ! you need a medal :D
lick them wounds take the debt head on and kick some juicy a!! BTW keep with the egg, yes the report is damaged but what good is taking it off now paying in full when you cant, one step at a time things will reduce and things will improve and eventually when you get debt free the credit rating may be somewhat climbing back up :D what does a credit rating matter right now for we arent going to borrow more cash :D BIG HUGS :d did i make sense D: x
