im on here in a real state of distress.
    1. financially we are stuffed
    2. i did a terrible thing today. i didnt check pockets and washed OH passport. its now missing the cover and BA say to bring it in to see if he can travel. i am completely hysterical. beginning to wonder why when i try so very hard in life that i screw up continually. starting to believe god is punishing me - why is this happening? when will anything ever happen thats good or just slightly good. life is a mess - i have such a headache from crying.
Hope you manage to get the passport sorted....

You will get through this.... It doesn't pay to assign blame - if we were to do that we would also say OH should never have left a passport in a pocket! :rotfl:

I think with the finances thing.... perhaps you should post an SOA even if you do it by private message to people you trust (or use a different email and sign up again and get a new user name and post on the DFW forum) Get a bit of advice.... Did you ever contact CCCS?

  • I reckon you are made of sterner stuff than that. Things have a way of working out. I have been at your stage many many times and I disappear for months from here. Don't do that as at least coming on here makes sense of everything and helps you along the way. He won't get fired, why would he? Sh*t happens and people understand that. I wouldn't fire someone for that. If they were doing things like that consistemtly then yes but not a one off. Stop panicking!!

  • Hi

What a horrible time you are having. I bet he won't be sacked though, it is a genuine mistake and you are doing your best by getting a repalcement the same day.

Chin up, things will get better.

I was where you are six months ago.3 children to feed.OH had good chance of being made redundant ,on short time, and hes only on factory lad wages.

My dog died, other dog had to be put to sleep as she had turned as we had only had her a couple of months. Not her fault ,she been through a lot but it was too late by time I rescued her she mistrusted other dogs, and I had two.

But culminating all that and other stuff I cant put here,I felt extremely close to melt down.Infact I think I hit it without realising.
I went to see the doctor and I have been on Fluoxetine(prozac) for 8 weeks now.People havent seen me all summer.I feel better and by has this house had a turnover on housework front.I can think ,i can sleep and that "If one more thing happens ,im going to kill my self feeling" has well and truely gone.

Go explain to the doctor that this isnt a momentary feeling ,that you need space to breathe.

    It will help.

Ps.I washed my OH mobile ,that was £120.Now I couldnt give a fig, bummer and waste of money but at the time I was devastated. But the reality of it was ,the argument that ensued because I went nuts was more detrimental to my health, our welbeing as a family, than the stupid phone.

Pm me if you want to talk privately.YOU WILL get through somehow.Mainl because you have recognised this feeling is a constant.xxxxBest wishes and love. Please book an appointment with your GP.If i am wrong ,so be it.But they can soon put you straight.

Hi MrsC - I really hope your OH doesn't get sacked - I would be amazed if he does... This feels massive right now but you will get thro it... If you need help getting thro - see your doctor like Draig says... We all need a little extra help from time to time.

there are so many things you are doing right - don't beat yourself for what you did wrong.... I got finished up from a job recently after 5 days - but do you know what - it wasn't the end of the world! I did nothing wrong. life was unfair but that is how it is sometimes. You can and will get thro this. It is only money.... at least now you are trying to do something positive to turn your life around....
