Any updates on this? I'm well short, got about 2000 points when I should have got 7000 (short 5k!)

I bought 12 products at 5 times each, in 1 go. Got all the texts etc.

I'm about 5k short :( I suspect they are not honouring the higher point value even though I registered and purchased before the points dropped.

Tesco have pulled the plug on this promotion.

Unfortunately this is down to MSE - the deal gets massive exposure - Tesco realise that they, as opposed to the consumer, are getting shafted.

Don't get me wrong - you should have your points - but I think Tesco is not going to look sympathtically on anyone saying "Where are my 6,000 points please?"

From the Tesco perspective you have not embraced the 'spirit' of the promotion, rather 'abused' it.

My best advice is to give Dundee a call - but ultimately if you find you are getting nowhere, save your energy and move on to the next MSE adventure.

But I honestly don't see how this was abused, they offered a max of 5 products at 250/100 points each and that's what I bought. I do use all of the things I bought so why would I not stock up while there is an extra points promotion on? If they don't want people to take full advantage they shouldn't offer the points in the first place. It's totally not on though to offer the points then not pay out because too many people took advantage of the promotion.

    You are not wrong.

I agree with everything you say.

But I know how the Tesco Corporate mind works - they will see it as abuse.

If you get your points, good for you - and good luck if you are chasing points.

Like others I too will probably lose out.

I'm not defending Tesco, just posting my thoughts on how this one will pan out.

I agree with you dude, I can also see how this is going to end up. I'm waiting for my statement to come through and then I'll make a call. I can't see it will do me any good at all, but I will try. Good luck to you too.
