I nearly did the same, but i now know to take up offers in Martins emails ASAP as they are usually withdrawn quickly.
A few weeks ago i opened an ING account to get the £20 free. Minutes later they closed the offer.
You have to be quick once the news is out.0 -
Does anyone know if the points should show up on your receipt when you buy the items. I registered successfully, got the text messages but when I bought the items no extra points showed up. If they only come through with the 3 monthly statement how can you be sure you have got them?0

You have to wait for the statement and keep your fingers crossed.
If you have already bought the items they will be on the May statement.0 -
Why are some tesco staff so rude & ignorant - is it a requirement of employment?
I went today and got my persil for the offer. When i left, i noticed the SA had not scanned my clubcard.
I went to return the items, so i could buy them again, and was asked why i was returning them.
I told her about the free points, only to be told there was no such offer and i would only get the points if i had a coupon. After arguing for 5 minutes, i cut her short and pointed out that it said on the reciept that i didn't need a blooming reason so just give me my money - at which point she almost threw it at me.
I tried explaing the offer so she would know about it in future, but she was plain ignorant and did not want to know.
You should have taken her name and complained to customer services about it. I'm quite sure Tesco would take an interest in staff being rude to customers. It might not be the best job in the world, but if you can't go about your life without being rude to people then it will catch you up.
I believe it's sometimes called Karma, but it's really just making your bed and lying in it.
Or you could have waited outside and pelted her with eggs on her way home.

you can ring cs and get them to email you details what you have registered and what you still have to use
there are links on pts when offers started and when they changed
Do you have a number to ring CS? I registered when there was 100 points and 250 points on offer. Went shopping and got most of the items offering 100 points but forgot to scan clubcard at the till. Went to the CS desk and explained to the lady there, who didn't have a clue. She called the duty manager, who didn't have a clue, she then called the .com manager who was also clueless. I explained again to all three and showed them the text messages on my phone.
They then refunded and resold all the items to me and scanned my clubcard but no points showed up at all. If I ring CS will they be able to tell me if the points went through. Also now that they have shifted things and are only offering 25 points and not the 100 when I registered will I still get the 100 points per item or 25? It was definately 100 points when I registered, this thread was still on the first page.
One more thing, will I be able to go shopping in the week and pick up all the items for the extra points or do I have to register again? I got 12 items in total giving me 1200 points @ 100 points each. Hope I still qualify for the 100 points per item. Not too sure how It'll work, I'm a little confused by the change.0 -
you points wont show till the statement in may.
you have yo register for each item bought so if you register 12 times for each of those 12 items you will get points for them... you have to re-register for any more purchases that you do, unless you registered for more in the first place when yes you can buy more next week and you will get the points. each registration for each product allows you 1 purchase of that product for that 1 registration... so 2 registrations allow 2 purcheases etc etc.Compers challenge 2024 wins!!!!.... Celticfc, i registered 5 times for each product when the offer was for 100points for each item. 've bought a few items so far and am presuming that when i buy the rest i'll still get 100 points for each which will then show up on my May statement. I'm keeping all my receipts and my fingers crossed!0
