Why did this "AMAZING DEAL" take so long to get flagged up on MSE??? It appears that it had already been running for several weeks and now the offers have been significantly scalled back! At the beginning of this thread it was suggested that as many as 7700 points could have been gained but if this had been flagged up two weeks ago that total could have been more like 20,000 points!!! That could have been £200 in clubcard vouchers x 4 £800 of deals!!!
It's very rare that a deal of this magnitude gets missed for so long these days by MSE so lets hope something similar comes along soon.

All in all, keep up the fantastic work that you do Martin!!!

What was the best points deal available then, when the offer was first launched, was it lots of 250 pointers?

I registered on Friday and Saturday just gone, and I think I got 250 points for one or more products and 100 points each for the rest - but how can I check? Does anyone know what points were available on what days/weeks?

Silly me, I deleted all the text replies as they filled up my phone inbox. :o

Wrong... by mass mailing it to 3 million people martin essentially put the nail in the coffin.

if he had advertised it the first week.. it would've only been shut down much sooner. In a way am sad it got advertised cause it could've got me a few more points. Did manage to get 7700 tho so not too bad.

Thanks for your reply mrsmoneyspender. :A

I didn't see the info on the PTS thread, I will have a look tomorrow though. I glanced at the latest posts about it on PTS but had already read this MSE thread and registered last week so couldn't face reading the whole PTS one as well!

Wish I had seen it at the beginning, must try harder! :o

  • When do the points get added on. I registered last week and bought some on Thursday. Have checked the clubcard website but they haven't been added on yet. Also can i register again even though i haven't bought everything i registered for last week?

Need to build up airmiles again after using them for ski trip

As I understand it they won't be added on until the next statement is issued - you need to keep your receipt to make sure that you get all the points you're entitled to.

Also you can reregister but you'll get fewer bonus points for the reregistrations (see new note at top of thread)
  • Oh I am so sad registered for small and mighty last week and intended doing the rest today @100 points each, guess I missed the boat. Nobody to blame but myself

Why are some tesco staff so rude & ignorant - is it a requirement of employment?

I went today and got my persil for the offer. When i left, i noticed the SA had not scanned my clubcard.

I went to return the items, so i could buy them again, and was asked why i was returning them.

I told her about the free points, only to be told there was no such offer and i would only get the points if i had a coupon. After arguing for 5 minutes, i cut her short and pointed out that it said on the reciept that i didn't need a blooming reason so just give me my money - at which point she almost threw it at me.

I tried explaing the offer so she would know about it in future, but she was plain ignorant and did not want to know.
