Can't see any reason why not

On PTS it states you need to use another phone for each clubcard as well as sim card. This could be down to web cache held on phone. I have noticed it knows your clubcard when re registering for offers so you could check if it shows when trying to set up another clubcard.:rolleyes:0 -
I've now successfully had each text 5 times, and have ordered these products online (they've literally just been delivered) so hopefully i'll qualify for all of the points
I was wondering if anyone knew, if there's any CC deals that would in some way allow me to put them towards a purchase of a desperately needed new TV?0 -

Can't think of anything except selling the vouchers on eBay stating that you will convert them to the Deals of the buyer's choice (pointing out that some Deals are not transferable of course such as holiday Deals).
Have a look at some completed listings on eBay for good wording to cover yourself if the buyer goes & asks for a non-transferable Deal. Buyers should be OK if they ask for restaurant Deals, Days Out etc. as the surname on the Deals doesn't matter for those.
Make sure your title includes the words 'Tesco' (not Tescos) 'clubcard' (not club card), 'vouchers' and 'Deals' and if you can include the Deals value in the title like some sellers do, then all the better to catch people's eye.
You might get twice the face value of the vouchers which you could then use for your telly.
HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have an iPhone 3G and couldn't get this to work when it was announced a few weeks ago, because Safari on the iPhone is a proper browser and so is not recognised as WAP. I rang the helpline on the web page who told me apple are paranoid and make it difficult for things to interfere with their browser  oh no... So they were no help and offered no solution.
Last night, my husband (who has an iPhone developing registration) got the new OS 3 for the iPhone (currently only available to developers) which enables tethering, i.e. using your iPhone as a router. Tried this, just in case, and still no joy.
So final option was to stick the O2 sim card into a WAP enabled O2 phone and register that way. The cheapest I could find is the samsung e250 on phones4u (http://www.phones4u.co.uk/shop/shop_payg_details.asp?ItemKey=167655&NetKey=11) which is £29.30 and you also have to buy £10 credit. This seems a lot to just get the Tesco offer, but they do free next-day delivery, as well as £10 cashback on Quidco and 911 Boots advantage card points for recycling when you're finished with it (£9.11). You could also sell the £10 sim card on ebay for £5, meaning that all in all the true cost of the phone would be about £15, which is worth it if you plan to buy more than about 8 or 9 items in the extra points offer.
Hope that makes sense and helps a bit0 -
So far, I've only received the Persil text though I registered for all the offers via the tick box. Does this mean the rest are not set up yet?
Thanks
EDIT: Text messages coming in thick and fast!Tough times never last longer than tough people.0 -

Does anyone know how often the offers change?.I signed up for the free text alerts but was just curious.I had forgotten how strong the smell of comfort is.Note to self cut by 1/4 not 1/2 dose."Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0

Anyone ordering online make sure you use a code. I used one for £10 off a £50 shop (XX-PD96), but there are more if this does not work anymore (i used it yesterday).
Also, PG tips are £3.55 for 160 online, but £3.00 for 240 instore & persil small & mighty with comfort is approx £2.55 instore until 22/03/09.0 -

Why not just buy a £2.48 Tesco Mobile sim card from Tesco and use someone else's phone (friend, neighbour, etc)..... most of the world doesnt own a iPhone and there is no need to go to the exspence or hassle you mention.

It would involve getting a sim and phone separately (with no guarantee of it working) which is more "hassle" than just ordering the handset. Plus it's not a huge expense, like I said it works out at £15 which is not going to render me homeless any more than £2.48 is. Plus, it's a bit cheeky to expect people to lend you their phones when it could take up to half an hour, and they might want to actually do the offer themselves - as it's one clubcard per handset.
All in all I don't know why you think it's such an "expense and hassle". I ordered it yesterday, it was delivered this morning, I didn't have to spend a fortune or inconvenience anyone else by borrowing their phone, asking them to delete messages to accommodate Tesco texts, stopping them from doing the offer themselves...
And I know that "most of the world doesnt own a iPhone"; thanks for that pearl of wisdom. But at least 5 people on this forum have been asking if there is a way around, and i was simply trying to be helpful by offering my own solution. That's what this forum is for.
piefacerecords - no offence meant, also just being helpful in the forum.
Just to be accurate:
-Most phones arent locked (only usually Orange/Tmobile/Vmobile). Vodaphone and o2 contracts make up 70% of the phones out there.
-Registering the offer on the Clubcard/SIM makes no difference to the "handset".
-Most people know and would be able to ask someone they know if they could borrow their phone to complete this offer (there are more mobile phones than people in the UK!).
-5 iphone users out of over 100 posts/thousnads of memebers. Seriously iphone is a very small %
It's a sad world when we have to buy a phone rather than ask someone we know if we could use theirs for a few minutes. Human kindness is so important dont you think.
I am please you got it sorted and purchsed a phone to allow you to do so. Looks like you got some offers along the way as well so it's all good in the end.
