Tesco Clubcard Loophole

I went to my local Tescos today and spent £30 on several of the products.
However, despite handing my clubcard to the checkout assistant, he didnt swipe it as I hand the note at the end of the reciept saying I could have earnt 30 points.
I've since gone back to customer services and had the points added but will my bonus points have been added? I asked the lady and explained the deal and she had no idea about it. Anyone got any advice or had a similar experience?0 -

i would ring customer services as the store has just added extra points you got for the total spend and i don't think this will have registered with the offer
if they won't take them back and buy again

Went on to http://free.tesco-mobile.com/Tescodirect/default.aspx (via the phone)
Registered for the first offer. Then at stage 4 there is a tick box towards the bottom to register for all offers. Did that.
Text have come through over the last 15 minutes.
Credit on phone is still 20 pence so the wap on their site must be free!
This is worth noting...I think it only charges you if you click through onto the home page and access the banner from there. If you go direct as eddiemiller suggests, you're good to go...wish i realised that before eating into my profits by topping up
I have just had my order delivered...everything was in stock apart from one of the dove body washes, but that was substituted for a qualifying product so no worries there. Hadn't completely read the exclusion on the vaseline one though...5 mini tubs of vaseline to find a home for now  Looks like I'll be popping into my metro tomorrow to get some antiperspirants...0 -

CS adding the points manually definitely wont work. The points are not attributed to the individual products (as anybody will tell you that's taken a duplicate points coupon to the CS desk saying "this coupon wouldnt go through and i have bought the product")
Saying that, even if you phone the helpline and explain to them and they offer to update your records, then I still wouldnt be confident that they'll do it right and because of the stupid way that they're not allocating points until May, you wont know until its waaaay too late to do anything about it.
Unless you go for the "entire refund" option then I reckon today's purchases might have all been in vain.
You dont get the problem of moron checkout staff at the self scan checkouts ya know. If you want something doing right, then do it yourself!0 -

As expected, the small and mighty with comfort was sold out, and probably wont be back until the offer ends on the 22nd.
Didn't buy all the spreads, as i want to get them with different dates on.
I used a few coupons to bring the cost down, and will just sit back and wait for the points now. If they arrive - i will have got enough points for one of the deals i have been after in 2 just days - instead of the 2 years it would have taken.
Don't forget to keep all receipts!!0 -

Cheers for the TY fella... always happy to share a saving or two (I also found it was the quickest, simplest and most straight forward way of doing the offer as it takes you to where you need to be straight off....)
Having read the T & C's several times and spoke to customer services in my mind the following is true:
1. You can buy each product up to 5 times before the offer ends IF you register for it 5 times
2. By doing it 5 times you will get 5 sets of texts
3. The offer may stop at any time and the points value may change
4. You can only link ONE clubcard to ONE mobile
So register the PAYG sim to your Clubcard, use the link (posted before) to get the free online offer access. Choose the first offer, then at step 4 select the "tick all", wait a min or two for the page to complete. Get your texts.
REPEAT above 4 more times.
Go to Tesco and buy 5 of each item OR order them online.
Thats how it looks to me.
