do you think the donation didnt go through or is it maybe just taking a while to get it all processed? I did it over the phone and they took my home phone no in case there was trouble with the payment but noones called...? anyone help?

The last year(2 y ago?) my OH's donation didn't come off until we were on holiday so June/July time. I think there was a form sent re gift aid too, but that might have been a previous year. It's in their interest to have the money as quickly as possible so I don't know why it takes them so long.

We wrote to them asking for assistance, and they said as we were only raising for an individual, they couldn't help. A child in need is a child in need, whether its 1 or 50??

is there a cancer support centre in your area? Or do one of the local radio stations run 'cash for kids' appeals. these kind of organisations can sometimes make grants.
