Having made quite a bit in the £1000 in 100 days challenge, I chose to donate £50 which I felt was affordable to me.

But it still hasnt shown on my credit card and its making it rather difficult to sort out my money as i should really be trying to pay this £50 off now before I spend the designated funds, but theres no balance to pay it against

do you think the donation didnt go through or is it maybe just taking a while to get it all processed? I did it over the phone and they took my home phone no in case there was trouble with the payment but noones called...? anyone help?

The last year(2 y ago?) my OH's donation didn't come off until we were on holiday so June/July time. I think there was a form sent re gift aid too, but that might have been a previous year. It's in their interest to have the money as quickly as possible so I don't know why it takes them so long.

    It's only a game

We can't be a charity as raising funds for 1 person needing treatment abroad. Now her cousin has been diagnosed with the same cancer we still can't register as family cannot benefit from any funds raised.

We wrote to them asking for assistance, and they said as we were only raising for an individual, they couldn't help. A child in need is a child in need, whether its 1 or 50??

is there a cancer support centre in your area? Or do one of the local radio stations run 'cash for kids' appeals. these kind of organisations can sometimes make grants.
