Would only give to comic relief if they naffed off and put something funny on the telly for the evening instead. Never seen such rot as they were wheeling out this year.
Seriously, though, I have my charitable commitments - but RND certainly ain't one of them.0 -
£1.
And I did get a nice photo of DD4 from a photographers for that £1.0 -
£0.
Ive never given for Comic Relief, Children in Need etc.
Have collected for other worthy charities in the past, but charity starts at home..0 -
Not sure, gave bits and pieces to charity tins in the run-up and my daughter's school had the usual 'wear-what-you-like-day' (if-you-pay!), on the night did £100, then after I had watched a few more of the heartbreaking VT's I did another £150, I tend to try and donate online rather than in buckets etc, so I can giftaid it.
Ooooh, just realised, as I did it through AMEX, I will get 5% back!!!0 -
I text yes to that number so I gave £5. I enjoyed watching them climb up the mountain and I enjoyed watching the apprentice. Think happy & you'll be happy

Used some funds in paypal I was saving because the kids asked. £25 which TBH is nothing in the scheme of things when you see how others live and not just in Africa. The UK schemes are great like the young carers.:j0

I am pregnant and hormonal, they got me in a moment of weakness! Doesn't really matter the figure though does it, really it's more what that is relevant to your income/necessary expenditure, I bet there's loads of people that would like to donate, or to give more, but can't afford to because times are tough. I have always donated 10% of my gross salary to assorted charities every year, so, when I was 20 and a waitress, that really wasn't much in monetary terms! :rotfl:0

That little boy who looked after his whole family and felt guilty because he could see had me in floods of tears, just wish he lived near me, you wanted to help him and cook dinner for them or something didn't you?0 -

I agree. I was a young carer and back then I never got any support or anything and I think if I had received some kind of support, it might have made it easier. I was quite resentful when I was younger and looking back I feel bad about that. It's not my mums fault she needed help.
It's good that they are finally giving support to these children now. Think happy & you'll be happy
