Well guys I've had some good news today. After having a moan on here about everyone saying how much they love all these stamp jobs (?) I sent G*P an enquiry asking why I couln't see any when my 'friend' could. I got a nice e-mail back within 24 hours saying I had answered a screening question wrong previously and it had been re-set for me to try again. Shame there are none in my area but I shall keep checking. Must be my lucky day! I think I'll buy a lottery ticket.... I promise to buy you all a pint with my winnings if its over a £million.......;)
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

Congratulations, Gap service has imho improved in the last two months.

I also mentioned earlier they can get reset quickly so preserver and ask if you could get them reset. If not ask them again politely as a friend has had them reset quickly.

BTW Your luck is day is on my brithday! ;);)

I think vicki was after a program or site that will show her to best order to do the visits in. Like in my example, I had 8 car jobs to do in a city I've never been to before, so had no idea where these places where. After a fair bit of Googling, I came up with BatchGeoCode website that does it perfectly and is free.

It doesn't sjhow you the route, but it plots them all on a map so that you can then use something like the AA route planner and you'd know what order to add the "stop off" points..

i found google maps really useful for this also.

just type in the post code of one, click get directions, then add the others to the list below, it then shows you where they all are on the map, with a bit of changing the order, i saved 7 miles of driving between my car showrooms.
