Signed up to every one of the companies recommended on first page of thread. Thanks to everyone for putting so much info together in one place. Just out of interest, how often do you all check the websites for new assignments?

    Good luck!

I tend to check all of the websites at least once a day and try and keep the alerts thread on this forum on refresh as much as possible!

Word of advice, for some of the companies that allocate you jobs by email, if after a month you haven't had any invites I would drop them a quick email about it. I did this and innocently asked if I had done something wrong and this was why I wasn't receiving any allocations and suddenly they are falling over themselves to allocate me jobs!

    Hi all

Just been told I've been accepted for RA. Are they a good company, please? Any thoughts appreciated.

Joined at the start of march but never heard anything from them.

As often as I can lol. I tend to check RE, GAP, TNS, GR, GFK at least once a day, the others if I see an Alert ont he Alert thread, and when I get time.

I have done a car job for BARE today. The "On the road" price was £21000, target was £20000, but the salesman said I could have it for £14200 today only!!!! How do you negotiate down on that :rotfl:

    Hi Smoothie,

Make sure you've subscribed to the Alerts Only thread as that's were most of get notifications when jobs are released on various websites. I sit with email open most of the day so have also set the alert to email me too.

I check the sites mid-morning and mid-afternoon then sometimes at night otherwise I just wait for those emails from the Alerts Only thread.

IMO, Only GRG and OC are accurate when it comes to sending their email notifications out on time. The other three are GfK, Aba-i and Gap who send out emails but they are very random and in Gaps case they are sent hours or days after jobs have been released.

Hi, quite new to this Mystery shopping. Signed up with a few comapnies but find RE seem to offer me the most jobs. How many points do you need to earn before they start offering more than pubs/ pub meals? Would like to do a hotel job how many points before these come available?
    Thanks in advance

    Ask free met paint?
Tell him that if he can do it for £14k flat you'd sign there and then (nothing stopping you getting up and saying you'll come back in an hour once he says yes.

Ok, I jest, slightly! That's an amazing drop in price!

I actually nearly bought it there and then!

Seriously, it took the wind right out of my sails. I just didn't know what to say after that. Apparently, they were desperate to hit month end target.

Yeah, now (as in the next few days) would be an excellent time to be buying a motor - month end AND financial year end.

And in the middle of a recession where sales are already down by ~70%!

I'm surprised they even have targets in the current climate!
