Anyone else take a Gap Pizza job with a better fee than usual? There was a bit of discussion about what the £6 entry and £6 meal was all about...

Well I took one which had a better reimbursement than usual and also a fee, but I have just looked in My Assignments and the fee has gone and the reimbursement is now the usual amount.

Is it just me? I think they might have made a mistake and then sneakily changed the amounts but they might have said, bit naughty of them as I might not have double checked the amounts and spent over.

Yes, just checkedmine and the sneaky bar stewards have changed mine too :mad:

Just sent them a lovely email so I expect to be sacked by morning  but I so wish I had saved the notes to PDF

Will let you know if they ever respond ......;)

I am so pleased with GR, I did a job last thursday 19th March and the payment was sent on 20th March so arrived in my bank today :T :j

Lucky you :T . I did one on the 18th and it is still pending. What is their average time? I'm getting worried! How do they let you know your score? email or message on the website?

I just printed out the paperwork for my pizza lunch tomorrow, and the same has happened for me. The higher, strange fees have been replaced with a lower fee, which is the same as the last time I did the job.

They are not usually as quick as that, but they usually pay the same month, but if you have missed this payday then it will be next month now, they don't let you know score (not sure if they do scores) you will just see on your completed that it is pending/paid.

Does anyone know of a good site that I can enter a handful of postcodes into and it will show me geographically where they all are at the same time?

I need to sort some planning out for some busy days I have got coming up.

    Thanks in advance x

I've got Microsoft Autoroute. It's fabulous!

I just tap in all the postcodes I have to visit and where I want to start and end, then click "optimise". It then sorts everything into the best order to visit.

I've no idea how much it costs as it came free with a friends PC, but they had no use for it so they gave it to me. I find it invaluable though.
Here I go again on my own....

    Hi guys

Need someone who knows a little bit about tax/being self employed

Popped into my local tax office to pick up the form to register as self employed. She said that as I would have already missed the deadline for the tax return to be sent out, that I didn't need to register until the start of the new tax year, and just say that is when I started.

That really doesn't sound right to me, but is it allowed? I'm more than happy to register when I actually started - beginning of march - but obviously don't want to make things more complicated for myself or get in trouble.

    Could anyone please advise?

Oh and re finally confirmed my french sandwich job, however did dock me a point for raising the proof reading query - but i earnt that back with a survey hehe

Following on from yesterdays chat about route planners, just seen this on msn/rac that allows you to add numerous via points. I've not tried it so don't know how good it is.

I registered with Field Facts back in August. Not heard a dicky bird from them.

Is this the other one? https://www.esa.co.uk cos I tried that one, too (back in August) and they weren't recruiting in my area (just checked again and they still don't want me!)

    Thanks anyway.

    That's the one.

Did you ring them up to check? They seem to be a bit flaky when it comes to responding to their contact form.

Took ages to get them to register me even though I live in one of their wanted areas.

I think vicki was after a program or site that will show her to best order to do the visits in. Like in my example, I had 8 car jobs to do in a city I've never been to before, so had no idea where these places where. After a fair bit of Googling, I came up with BatchGeoCode website that does it perfectly and is free.

It's not for the computer novice, but with a bit of time spent, it's fairly easy to work out how to use it, and I think it's a fantastic site. Saved me lots of time and wasted petrol.

    The URL is http://www.batchgeocode.com/

Basically you create a CSV file with the addresses is, it even gives an example and an example file that you can just download and replace their addresses with your site of addresses. You then upload it and it plots them all on a map for you.

It doesn't sjhow you the route, but it plots them all on a map so that you can then use something like the AA route planner and you'd know what order to add the "stop off" points.

If anyone needs any help with this site, feel free to pm me, it really is brilliant.
