Right, Back off you lot! Londoners should keep an eye on http://www.qualityeye.com/14201.html as they list a lot of focus groups.

I'll PM with another link to be on the safe side but I suspect a lot of folks have already joined that company.

I think I've got the wrong end of the stick. I thought you were saying the focus group (or whatever it was) was computer based... so it wouldn't matter if you don't live in London.

When snapping up the jobs it said in the PK MAxx Enquiry ones that you can either make a purchase of £5 or post a letter and get proof of posting. That's all I'm saying on the matter at risk of things kicking off again.;)

I'm waiting on the assignment details too, so I strongly suspect it'll be a really cringy question we have to ask and that is the reason behind the cloak and dagger.

It's hard to generalise with these as there are so many different scenarios. Some you can buy currency, some you can't; some you have to use a debit card and some cash; some you can buy savings stamps and some you can't, etc.

I'm afraid you'll have to wait for the scenario really - it's safer, even if someone else has got an old one, they've changed recently. The good news is that usually they're available more than 2 days before the shop, like about a week before, so you'll have time to suss it out.

I think this is the 300 items. I have a nasty feeling they don't actually know the size of the store! :o

I did about 5 of these over Christmas - the 300+ ones. Took ages but got a really good fee for each one. Have also put my name down to do a local supermarket every month and I already do another one. What I used to do was take the cells away so your just left with the items - that way it looked like a shopping list. I used to take a trolley with me a buy a few items anyway so it didn't look too suspicious. I used to keep my handbag on the seat of the trolley and put the notes in my bag. That way it just looked as if I was checking my shopping list. If you've got any queries drop me a PM (I promise I'll check this time!!!)

Does anyone know of a good site that I can enter a handful of postcodes into and it will show me geographically where they all are at the same time?

I need to sort some planning out for some busy days I have got coming up.

    Thanks in advance x

    I use http://www.theaa.com/route-planner/index.jsp

If you have a guess at the first and last destination, then put the others in as 'Via'. Then spend ages shuffling them round until it looks like a sensible route. Any other suggestions for better methods would be gratefully welcomed.

Not sure Vicki, but the other day I did use google street view to see the shop I was going to and "walk around" and look for the place in the comfort of home as I'd never been to the area so was a bit worried about finding the place. Worked really well, got off the bus and found it right away so thumbs up for google.

mharzuk, do you actually have to buy anything? I saw someone tonight at a green store acting well dodgy with a huge computer written shopping list. Probably just thinking too much into it!
Its not a mystery shop, its more like a mystery audit but it would be difficult to do covertly without getting some stuff in a trolly. I usually spend up to the same amount as the fee so its a free weekly shopping for me.
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(
