I've got 2 cats and go in there quite often anyway, so pretty pleased about getting it :) I think the trick is not to buy anything that's alive in there?!
I had to be 'interested' in getting a rabbit. My objection was that my daughter is allergic to dogs and can I bring her in to rub her face in a rabbit to see if there was a reaction. The sales assisant was phoning social services as I left the store.......
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

Re RE. That is 19% of the bampots who did the poll willing to accept £15 or £15 for the credit check job. I know we are in a credit crunch but these idiots who obviously are doing MS'ing cos they are so skint, doing it for fun or whatever are diluting the fees for us professionals.

Most of us care enough to have joined a forum, read the posts and it is clear how much pride we take in doing the job well.

I know people from work etc who know I do MS'ing and more and more are asking me how to "get into it". Maybe I am selfish or whatever but I now don't give out info to them. When I started I had to do a lot of research etc apply to companies without advice on how to do it so I am not willing to spoonfeed people info on how to pass tests, etc.

Cos everytime you give out addies etc to people in your area that is less jobs for you. I would only make an exception for someone who was really struggling with the current economy. I got someone I work with into RE. She only works with me for perks. She has a BMW. Admits she doesn't care about the low fees...she just finds it a fun thing to do on a boring day. Only picks food jobs. So got a Spanish eatery last week....beat me by seconds to it.

Am I being selfish and mean. I am normally Mrs Helfpul person but these people are going to drive the fees down so much it won't be worth our while doing the flaming job. She even did her 12st report entirely ion Capital letters and RE said nothing about it.

I'll probably get lynched but I kind of agree HP. I am doing this to make ends meet because I've been unable to get a proper job. I take it seriously and try to do a professional job. I feel a bit peeved at people in work who do this for fun and take jobs away from me. I know I shouldn't feel that way - I've been working in a proper job in the past and still been struggling so I know some people do genuinely need extra money and I don't begrudge them. I'm just jealous of those who have the (relative) security of an regular income while I'm struggling with fastest finger.

However, I won't take low paid jobs. I have other things to do and have to consider if the fee is worth a trip into town and a couple of hours taken out of my day. I wish people wouldn't accept the rubbish fee jobs at all because it does jeopardise things for the rest of us.

Not sure if those "typos" were intended or not, but I chuckled! My guess is you either made them intentionally to be ironic, or you just hit the wrong buttons in your rage.

    Should we have a poll?!

I thought the same - but as HP's a little feisty (Lily Connelly) I said nothing!

Hi I received an e-mail about a job but when I looked on their website the job wasn't available.

I have now been told that as I 'failed the test' for this particular retailer I cannot carry out any shops.

I have asked to redo the test and await a reply...

Has anyone else asked to resit a 'test' and were you allowed to or do you have to wait so many weeks before doing so ? I think it was about a month ago.

Oh and there was me flattering you by giving you a nickname. I only do that for folk or companies I hate like Gyp etc. Byt I also do it for people I have affection for. In case you missed your new nicknname it is His Royal Wiseness.

Here is a poll like RE. Who thinks HRW is apt. Or is there someone with a better accronym for our esteemed Timmne.

And it was a typo it was 3 jobs and not 12.

So they emailed me the query. Apparently I hadn't answered a question, which is odd seeings as I checked the "highlight unanswered" button twice, and it doesnt appear on my printed version of the questionnaire.

I told them I was not expecting to lose any point over it. But now its gone really odd - there is no assignment query showing, and the shop is showing up in my pending payments, but I have received no points whatsoever and is not listed on my completed assignments - soooooooo confused!!!!

I know it was only a little job, and not worth much, but it was only my second job for them, so I need those points so that I can see better jobs eventually :(
