Sorry, I know this thread moves very quickly so just adding this again. Can anone help ?
y KSG1970 viewpost.gif Hi, I have a question re GR - I have been a member since February but have had nothing from them. Is this normal ?

    Thanks.

re the above - i was in the same position. they advised me when I contacted them to add other post codes - so if you live 6 miles away from a city centre, enter the post code of a bank in that city centre, or you may not get offered it.

I added a few dufferent business addresses within easy travel reach and now get multiple work offers daily.

    Hope this helps.

I'm using Firefox as my browser, is anyone else haveing any problems on RE reading the aassignment notes. They never open on Firefox I always have to use a different browser [Safari] just to read through the assignments.

Any tech savvy people know a way around this on Firefox?

Someone clarify this for me please. Booked an assignment [abai] May 3rd @4:30pm notes say you have 3 days to complete.

The e-mail states "This visit must be completed by 06 May 2009 and feedback must be returned within the same day."

Is it the 6th or the 5th, because to state by 06 May 2009 is quite confusing and I don't want to do a job a day late because of some wording technicality.

I'm guessing 6th is the final day I can complete and submit this assignment.

You need to be referred. If you PM me your full name, email address, and areas you can cover, I will send your details off to ABAi.
I was under the impression they're only looking for certain areas at the moment for new referrals? That's what the newsletter said, anyway.

Weirdly I'm having the opposite issue with RE. I use explorer but need to switch to Firefox to open assignment notes. The problem has only happened in the last week. I messed with my browser settings as it's almost certainly a security settings issue-and gave up after the obvious solutions didn't work.

My son has been itching to come on a mystery shop with me... he thinks I am a spy!

Anyway, did a petrol one for Abai yesterday, moved his seat to the front of the car, hey presto, one 8 year old spy!!

(He spotted 2 coffee cups on the forecourt, one old petrol stain, and thinks the charcoal was badly stacked outside!)

Mind you, the fact he had rolled up a newspaper to make it look like a telescope gave the game away.... no wonder they say no kids on assignments! :rotfl:

Hi all quick question, GAP bookie jobs, do you have to do these alone?

    No, you don't.

I know exactly what you mean - I think. I am very particular about where I relieve myself (is that what you are getting at?) ;)

I know we only have to take a look in order to complete the report, but I am worried about asking as I think that's akin to a big flashing sign over my head saying MYSTERY SHOPPER! However, I have been lucky and grabbed a couple of these jobs. I've fancied this for a while as I am a closet gambler (or at least I think I could be, given half a chance).

Anyway, would appreciate advice from you experts please.

Also, Josie are you around? Did you grab the Boro ones as I noticed they vanished in the blink of an eye???!!!!

Sadly, no, I didn't get the Boro ones. I can't go to the next home match as "we're all off to sunny Spain", so not really worth a 240 mile round trip otherwise to do a couple of bookies! Of course, some people might say it's not worth a 240 mile round trip to watch the Boro, but they wouldn't know what they're talking about, would they? :rotfl:

There have been 3 bookies I've done where as soon as I asked for the key to the toilet, because they were locked, they sussed me straightaway and hardly any of us could keep a straight face and I certainly couldn't look them in the eye, it was just so obvious!! But hey, I got paid and they got a good report, because they went into all the details and funnily enough fell over themselves to be helpful.

OK, not a fair, real report, but there you go.

And I'm sorry, if folks on here don't agree, but I never spend 15 mins in there - I only do what I need to do then leave. As long as you can answer all the questions and make sure your timing is right, then I don't see any harm done.

Scotties Mum - your post made me chuckle - thanks :)

Quick question; does anyone know when ABAi pay you?

I just made a boob rescheduling GAP assignments and now have to conduct two chicken shed visits today. That and three other assignments. A busy afternoon of MSing. Not sure I can cope :o
