Hi
I'm new to all this mystery shopping business. I've recently signed up to a few but can't see to get anything for Northern Ireland. Is there anyone on this board from NI and if so, is there much about in terms of mystery shopping.
Thanks0 -
Yes, sorry the Berwick bit was, but I'd clicked quote already, so being lazy didn't bother going back to see who'd made the post about it, so thanks for picking it up.
By the way, the bit about this...

Oooooh you are brave, I asked this question yesterday and got a bit of a slapping for being thick (don't worry I didn't mention your name Nads.... oops just did!:o).
The person to PM and ask very nicely is Hollypear, unofficial company spokesperson at the moment and can I say doing a very good job too....:T
...was more about the fact that it had been thoroughly discussed on the previous page, so think people get a bit annoyed when people ask about something without reading through properly...
Anyway, reagarding React Surveys, maybe to save your wrists HP (best to BCC people in one go - saves time & you're not divulging people's email addresses.) but also if anyone just wants to sign up online here's the website http://www.reactsurveys.com/BecomeAShopper.html
Ta for your help Josie my pet. I have done zillions of PM's and emails to React. I have though vouched for y'all as someone caring enough to do this job enogh signs up for forums. Other folks to quote the film "Don't give a damn"Clique member no 1.:D0 -

Hi,
I am new to this and just have a quick question about GR. I have registered with them, but under assignments there is nothing showing up. Will ALL assignments for the UK show up or just the ones in my area. Also does anyone know what teh radius of an area is? I have asked this with them but they didn't really answer it.
I live in a small village with approx 4 large towns within a 10 mile radius. I don't have any other addersses to add - though they did mention to scam the yellow pages for business, so I'm not sure if they ment to add any address in these local towns....
ANy thoughts would be greatly received.

Grassroots (in my area anyway) don't get many jobs, maybe 6 a month, and its a case of fastest finger first to get them as they go pretty fast. They pay very well though and the reports are clear. Only assignments in your area show up, which does seem to be a fairly small area of about 10 miles, so I added the postcode of an out of town shopping centre as one of my areas, as well as the postcode of where I work, and this seems to now get most jobs between my work and home. Hope that helps xDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

GR always email me saying jobs are available, then it is whether I beat the others to them
. Luckily it is the only MS site not banned during work hours from my comnpany.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I added a few more addresses in mine, I chose my work address but also random addresses out of the yellow pages in the areas I wanted or could get to reasonably often. So to answer you, I think they meant to add any address in those towns in order to get those towns in your search area. After that, it's fastest fingers first0 -

As the others have said, it's best to log a few addresses in nearby towns that you would be willing to travel to. You can register up to 5 addresses including your home address, so just pick a shop address in each of the towns and add that.
You didn't say how long ago you actually registered with them, but when I first registered I waited about 3 months for any jobs at all to show up. You can still see any jobs that were offered but you weren't fast enough to get, so I know I didn't get offered any at all in this time.
I developed my own theory about this, which is that maybe they use some sort of rota system, and new shoppers just have to wait until the next phase comes round before they get added into the rota. So I wouldn't worry too much - as I said I waited about 3 months. If it's been much longer than that you could always email them and ask.0 -
Hi lovely fellow MS'ers!
Hope nobody minds me butting in with a quick question - I've had a fairly quiet few weeks MS-wise in my little town, so haven't had much to say! Anyway, a pub meal has come up on RE quite close to my house, which I'm thinking of accepting for me and OH. However the last pub meal I did for them (for the company with the name of cutlery in the title!) had me swearing I'd never do a pub again... it took me 2 hours to do a report with over 100 questions, and the meal wasn't even nice! Anyway, this new job a different pub chain (colourful royalty!) - just wondered if anyone knew what the reports were like for these, and if it's worth doing?
Many thanks in advanceHope I've included enough information for people to know who I'm on about, without including *too* much - let me know if it needs editing!
Oh, also I read quite a few pages back about GAP having a new system of phoning people to offer them a few jobs at once now, instead of putting them on the job board? Just wondered if anyone had heard anything more about this? I haven't had a phone call, and there's not been much on there at all in my area lately. I've done about 30 jobs for them now, and even rescued them with their rubish burgers a couple of times when they've phoned begging me to do it - so feeling a bit left out now!
Thanks in advance xxx
