If you haven't done any jobs for them yet they will still have you on probation - most people only see pub jobs until after they do the first one, and become and active shopper, a few people have managed to see others but it depends whats in your area which is open to new shoppers.

ahhh that would explain it then, dont really like going into pubs so i'll guess i'll have to hope i might get to see something else

I'm doing a GAP Burger in a few hours but then wanting to get straight off on an overnight stay.

Does the "8 hours" (aka by 8am) rule come into play at weekends?

I mean, do I need to submit my report by 8am tomorrow or will tomorrow evening suffice do you reckon??
I have done that for a job for them once or twice, and not had any problems. However not sure if different clients have different deadlines though.

Oooooh you are brave, I asked this question yesterday and got a bit of a slapping for being thick (don't worry I didn't mention your name Nads.... oops just did!:o).

The person to PM and ask very nicely is Hollypear, unofficial company spokesperson at the moment and can I say doing a very good job too....:T

You know I didn't mean it like that! :p

I don't like doing pub jobs - my first one was a meteoric electronics store. Down side is you'll have to be super quick to accept them. Shame becuase there's probably a lot of pharmacy jobs around. Might be worth ringing RE and asking them if there's a job you can do to get off probation.

I'm not that keen on pubs in general either, but I did do one for RE that was OK. It was one where you could order a tea and a coffee, and was fine actually, just like going into a cafe as we could do it at lunchtime.

Mind you I say it was OK, they got a terrible report as the staff member that served me was hostile (remembering the snotty cow remark someone said on here it would have been appropriate) and they were rushing round like headless chickens despite only being fairly busy. But it was entertaining and I didn't feel uncomfortable in there, and made us think that we might go to similar places again if we wanted a snack or drink.

You know when they say 'What was the best thing about your visit?', the only thing that I could come up with on this one was the toilets :rotfl:. Well they were very nicely decorated.
