Does anyone else find it really quiet out there in MS world? I remember around 6 months ago I use to do about 12 GfK jobs and around 10 RE jobs per month. GAP use to be about 6 or 7 depending on what I chose. Nowadays I'm lucky to get two a month from GfK and RE jobs are just not worth even looking at - all pubs for a very low fee. TERN has knocked me back on my last 6 applications even though my average score is 9. It's all a very sad state of affairs. :( I've got 3 jobs lined up for May and they only pay a pittance. Feeling very sorry myself at the moment.

I'm with you as well. I've hardly got anything at all. In the last week I've booked one mystery shop! :(

I'm sure there's people out there who will say that they have loads booked and that they've never been busier but it's not happening for me and not from want of trying!

Same here. I have 3 jobs booked for May and that's it! Nothing for the rest of this month!

Has anyone done any of the brand name electrical shops currently on RE? How easy is it to find something in the shop for the reimbursement they offer?

I've done one. It's not easy to find something under a tenner but I did manage to get a 1gb memory stick for £7.99. Remember RE only reimburse you for the amount you spend not the full cost that they quote.

    No sandwich shops here!

Do you mean the the ones which sound like a Pony?

Tricky, but it is manageable - either buy batteries from behind the counter or you can pick up a set of pretty good quality earphones for £8.99 (or £7.. according to where you shop!)

Or some random tatty cables of little use. I think there are blank CD and MD's as well

    Yes that's the one.

I was just concerned that there must be a reason why they have been available for at least 40 minutes and not snapped up immediately.

I'll give one a go then. I'll probably say never again after I've done the report:rolleyes:

To be honest they are pretty straight forward jobs to do, no worse than the most others to do imo. Only problem is that I am building up a stock of earphones that I cant shift on Ebay!

April seemed to be quiet month but May is looking pretty good especially on the supermarket front :-)

GFK seem to be becoming pretty sproadic but it looks like thats because Retail Eyes have snapped a few contracts from them as well as TNS and Gap - god knows how they are managing it but they are! Its a tad irritating as they really are restricting the volume of these jobs I can do comapred to when i used to do them for GFK and TNS .....

I haven't been able to get many jobs for the latter part of this month and I have only one job lined up for May so far so it's not looking too promising. I hope it picks up soon :)

Another detail question for the French sandwich shops... can you purchase a hot wrap? In the brief it just says wrap/sandwich/salad. Anyone know?

Yes, you can go for a hot wrap. I've done them before and prefer hot wraps- no problems at all.
