No! As princess has said you have to order what they say HOWEVER on all the occasions I have done this, they have automatically "upgraded" me to a particular meal saving me X pennies.

Just tell the shop what Gap want you to order, no extras or changes to the pizza :D

Thanks Nads, I appreciate your help.

ive put my name down for one of the transatlantic flights but was hoping people in here could say how theyve got on if theyve done them in the past? its a bit daunting to think id be flying 24 hours alone to somewhere ive never been.

as for above the site says you can only cancel if its a family emergency.

I've done the BARE flights - for the current airline and the previous one. I have friends to stay with in some of the locations, otherwise I've used airmiles for hotels or got myself a cheap deal. I've travelled a lot on my own so it doesn't bother me (it's lovely to have chance to be selfish and do just what I want to do!), but I understand your concerns.

When I've been to destinations where I don't have friends, they have usually been cities, where there's plenty to see and you can be anonymous and not feel uncomfortable eg eating in a restaurant on your own. I did once take one of these flights to the Caribbean thinking I'd have a quiet, relaxing break in the sun, but as it's more of a couples destination, I got a lot of attention from the local men - amusing at first, but tiresome after you've heard "hello beautiful lady...." for the 23rd time  :D I probably wouldn't go there again on my own.

I've also taken my partner on one of the flights to North America - as we went in low season it wasn't too expensive for his ticket. Maybe you could try that first rather than go for the longest haul destination?

    Good luck :)

I think for the OC test visit, I wrote up a visit that I had for another company just before. Or was it the one where I had to listen a taped phone call and then fill in a questionnaire? Sorry can't remember which one was for OC, as did several in the same day. Either way I don't think it took too long.

Another detail question for the French sandwich shops... can you purchase a hot wrap? In the brief it just says wrap/sandwich/salad. Anyone know?

I don't see why not? The hot wraps are sitting ready to go - heated already. Can't imagine why they'd affect service times. Not as if you're waiting for them to be heated.

The bowling jobs are fairly easy and well paid.

Questionnaire is OK and OC pay really quick.

i guess from that mail that domestic flights come up?

No these are all long haul.

Id be interested in ANY of them as long as its weeks when partner is at home to look after son and dog!

With these flights the dates are pretty restrictive.

he flies all over the country

Then maybe he could give you tips on what to do?

whilst im stuck here so would be good to swap :D (not sure he will agree if he is teen and dog sitting especially when hes not good at the cooking and chores )

If your partners gets FF miles for his trips then maybe he can come with you ?

I did the trial visit about six weeks ago, no reimbursment or payment, I started getting jobs for them a few weeks later, pretty well paid, so I would say YES, It is worth doing.
  • Does anyone else find it really quiet out there in MS world? I remember around 6 months ago I use to do about 12 GfK jobs and around 10 RE jobs per month. GAP use to be about 6 or 7 depending on what I chose. Nowadays I'm lucky to get two a month from GfK and RE jobs are just not worth even looking at - all pubs for a very low fee. TERN has knocked me back on my last 6 applications even though my average score is 9. It's all a very sad state of affairs. :( I've got 3 jobs lined up for May and they only pay a pittance. Feeling very sorry myself at the moment.
