I wrote a brief "How to" post in the previous thread.

    Have you travelled abroad\alone before?

It's fairly easy, you just need to be organised to enjoy the trip.

Getting selected would be the hardest part!

These jobs will cost you money  but if you get the chance to travel First class then go for it.

thank you thats really helpful. im very independant having brought a child up alone and living in a different part of the country than my family but im a bit daunted by flying alone. ive got my name down so will wait and see - i think tis perfect IF i could find a mini cruise the other end as then id not be alone. anyhow now i know they come up more than just now ill be reapplying at other times so fingers crossed. i guess from that mail that domestic flights come up? Id be interested in ANY of them as long as its weeks when partner is at home to look after son and dog! he flies all over the country whilst im stuck here so would be good to swap :D (not sure he will agree if he is teen and dog sitting especially when hes not good at the cooking and chores )
  • Don't think you can for the pizza jobs, as you can only order what they say! If I am wrong someone will correct me!

    Hi all

I am doing my first pizza job tonight for Gap , a collection one , I know I must buy one only and the other item mentioned and I know I can buy a drink and not be reimbursed BUT can I take advantage of one of the meal deals where you get one pizza , plus 2 other items .... ? Sorry if I am being dumb , I have looked through the brief and from what I can see I wont get penalised but just wanted to check ....

    Thanks in advance.

No! As princess has said you have to order what they say HOWEVER on all the occasions I have done this, they have automatically "upgraded" me to a particular meal saving me X pennies.

Just tell the shop what Gap want you to order, no extras or changes to the pizza :D

Another detail question for the French sandwich shops... can you purchase a hot wrap? In the brief it just says wrap/sandwich/salad. Anyone know?

Without reading the brief (which I cba to do atm!) I'm thinking "no" as it'd affect the service times...
