Is it just me or is there nothing much about on GFK at the moment?
I never see jobs on GFK when the alert goes out, but if I check at other times, then the odd job will pop up randomly. Not sure if someone else is grabbing them before me and then cancelling, but I'm happy to pick up their crumbs!

How do you get the FULL receipt in a photo, Not getting paid for a makeup job because never had store address on, Is the store number not enough, Receipt was too large to get it all in on camera ohone:mad:

Is it possible to do some "origami" with it so that you can fold it smaller but still have the pertinent details on it?

Take the picture at the correct distance to fit it all in then enlarge it with free software?

    Use a scanner?

GFK is very quiet at the moment, I check randomly and sometimes am lucky enought to grab a job

I keep seeing posts on the alert thread about Bank jobs on there, but the only ones I ever see are phone calls to the pensions department.

Absolutely nothing on Gap for me at the moment either, not even a cup of coffee

  • RE have just rung me again to do a kiosk job at Ebbsfleet (the Kent Eurostar terminal). These jobs are always showing up in my area 'cos it's fairly close to Bluewater, but it's the other side of Bluewater to me and I don't want to travel that far just for a cup of coffee or a bottle of water. They are obviously not very popular because RE ring me regularly to ask me to do them and I'm running out of excuses.

I just WISH that, like GFK, other MS sites had an option to "Decline" a job, then all the ones in your area that you didn't fancy wouldn't show up, and they wouldn't waste their time ringing you to ask you to do it!

  • I have couple of jobs lined up on GFK, bank and JCP. I find them quite quiet, but their jobs are normally good when they do come up.

That's right. OUt of the few MS places I'm signed up to I by far prefer GFK. Their fees are good enough that it actually feels worth doing. RE haven't impressed me much yet, far too little reward for too much writing!

With Grassroots you will most likely be waiting a long time. I've only been offered four jobs in the last six months or so, and it's fastest finger first, and I was only able to get one of those jobs.

With RE, you should usually see a fair few jobs, just make sure you've set up your defined areas and set a reasonable distance around your areas. You really need at least one city/town in your areas to get offered many jobs. There are very few jobs on Retail Eyes at the moment anyway, I only have 4 available at the moment, and my areas collectively cover most of southern England from Stoke southwards, excluding Devon and Cornwall, and also cover Edinburgh.

Try registering with the others - GAPbuster and TNS will probably be best for getting plenty of jobs - TNS especially if you happen to be aged 18-21, because you can do Think 21 visits for a well-known supermarket, and there are always loads of them.

thank you and thanks to whoever does the list on the first page! I registered at two other companies last night and Ive got an assignment to do this weekend for Bare - they are by far my favourite and have some other work nearby I might do next. Been really helpful as the guidelines would not open for me at all so theyve sent me out what I needed to read and they will accept the reciept as a photo as the scanner is likely to go nuts and not work :rotfl:looking forward to my first attempt at earning some money for bargain hunting and can spend up to £20 on an item too. I just have to be careful as its at macarthur glen so i am NOT to go bargain hunting in any other stores and spend any money :D as for under 21 i am far too old ;) lol

No you're not - I hate kids at the best of times, especially when the parents think their kids are the cutest thing around, despite food being thrown on the floor and it screaming every few minutes!

I'm a parent and I hate children who behave in restaurants like that :D

Have you got a "macro" or "close up" setting on your camera phone? I always use that and I can get big receipts on mine.
Here I go again on my own....
