Never heard of them - must get out more...;)

Wouldn't worry, i looked at the menu, its quite pricy and doesn't sound that great, its one of those you would have to really sit down and work out what to order to keep it in budget. Very quiet for me, don't think i will make my target this month

Really pleased as I just managed to bag two bookies assignments on RE.

It means I'll have exceeded my target for this month in the challenge thread which I'm exceptionally pleased about :D

Quite happy now as last month was a tad lean but got 14 Supermarkets on TNS to tide me over next month!

    A quick tax question.

If I was to do a MS that was a 90 mile round trip away, but somewhere I was going anyway, what sort of mileage would I put down. Could I really justify the £36.00 mileage just for a £8.00 bookies job?

Thats a tricky one - personally If it was an area I was going to to see family or something and picked up a job on the way then I wouldnt, but if you picked up another couple of jobs in the same area then I would say the 90 miles mileage is justifiable. Sure there is a more official answer somewhere though
  • Does anyone know (I know you will!:p) if you ever get feedback from GFK? I have done 5 or 6 assigments for them but have not received any feedback, it seems once you have entered results they disappear. Or do I just need to see if I get paid on the 25th:rotfl:The problem is I think I made a little 'boobie' on one of the highest paid reports:mad:

They only contact you if there is a problem. I've once made a little error and they called me up to confirm. They are really nice on the phone. If you don't hear anything, all is okay. I have never, ever had payment withheld from them. I'm sure they'd ring if there was a problem.

RE have just rung me again to do a kiosk job at Ebbsfleet (the Kent Eurostar terminal). These jobs are always showing up in my area 'cos it's fairly close to Bluewater, but it's the other side of Bluewater to me and I don't want to travel that far just for a cup of coffee or a bottle of water. They are obviously not very popular because RE ring me regularly to ask me to do them and I'm running out of excuses.

I just WISH that, like GFK, other MS sites had an option to "Decline" a job, then all the ones in your area that you didn't fancy wouldn't show up, and they wouldn't waste their time ringing you to ask you to do it!

I must be in the same area as you as those Ebsfleet jobs are annoying I wish they would disappear off the page as that’s all I have showing.
  • Has anyone else who has received the OC email regarding survey phone calls actually read the brief yet? Am I reading it wrong or is it true that you have to phone someone (number supplied) and ask them to do a "short" survey over the phone with you and ask them over 40 questions?

This sounds extremely time consuming! And is it true (this is the hardest part to believe) that they are only paying £2.25 per call and you have to take your call charges out of that?!?!?

I must be reading something wrong here - OC usually pay really well...something can't be right. Could someone enlighten me please. :D

Hi has anyone been paid by React yet???? they are supposed to pay on the 12th, but got an email to say that due to the bank holiday it will be the 14th, but still not in as yet, tried to call there and "a not very helpful woman" just told me that there was no one in to take the call about pay and to call back monday!!!!!! to be honest i was quite angry as i had said that i am due £50!!!!
I have dealt with them in the past and they are always so nice on the phone although have never spoke to this person before!!!

Have you been emailed a remittance advice? I was sent one this morning and just checked online and I was paid yesterday. I think the cut off date for this month was 6th or 7th April.
