Even when I log in I can't see any surveys (and I registered for them a few months ago). I Have looked at surveys before, so I know I'm set up correctly. So why haven't they asked me???
Also It's now been 2 months since they offered me any work. I know they rotate assessors, and in the past I've missed a month and then been back in the rota, but never missed 2 months. Can anyone tell me if this is normal, or have I upset them?
OK, ignore me - turns out I DID get the email, I just didn't realise as it looked like spam!! I won't bother anyway as I don't like recorded calls and it will cost me extra to ring 0845 numbers. Landlines are included in my monthly fee, but 08 number are extra.
Anyway, would still like to know how often people get left out of the rota for the normal jobs with OC?0 -
Does anyone know if you're allowed to do Mystery Shopping if you're claiming Jobseeker's Contribution based. And if so, how does this affect your JSA ? As we all know Mystery Shopping isn't a steady or predictable income and of course the person would be accepting interviews as a priority over MSing but he's wondering if he can do MSing while he's getting JSA in order to make ends meet.
Thanks in advance.0 -
I did a job in Feb for Mys Outsource and I queried when I would get paid as I have no recollection of giving theme my payment details. Received a nice email back saying they would prioritise my payment and I received a cheque today.
GfK just some some phone shops online in my "area" but they were all for this weekend and I don't have the will to do those mind-bending calls in a different town. Take me a good few hours to type them up.
Glad I missed out on the TNS supermarkets as I morally screwed over the first one I tried to do last month. (Forogt the coffee shop!)
I've only seen two email alerts from OC for jobs since I joined in Jan - both banks - ironic really they want someone as skint as me to go invest thousands of pounds I would never have saved in the first place.0 -

I haven't been offered anything from them for ages and I'm just a bit north of you. I thought I'd upset them as I kept turning down a bowling job that we've done before and hated, so I refuse to go to that one again.
I've had a look at the bulk surveys but I've never fancied doing them as I don't think the fee is very good. I've worked in an outbound call centre briefly before and didn't enjoy the work, and I also know how difficult it can be to get people to talk to you. I think it's wrong not to be paid at all for a failed call as it has cost you in time and possibly call costs to attempt the call. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Thanks Becles, I don't feel quite so upset now. Hope I'm back in the rota soon!
I've never even been offered a bowling job - would love to do one of those.0 -
Anyone else been offered a postal audit for a supermarket on GFK but unable to download the briefing notes?0

I made six calls today, 4 went to answer machine, 1 was not interested and 1 completed survey, Thats when I realised you only get pais for completed surveys, probably cost me more that £2.50 I will get paid to call the rest, I will not be doing anymore0 -
Have you been emailed a remittance advice? I was sent one this morning and just checked online and I was paid yesterday. I think the cut off date for this month was 6th or 7th April.0
