    Cant think of any specific guides but Timmnes first post in this thread ought to be useful.

    E.g. Fee = £20; Reimbursement = £5

    Income = £25

    Expenses = Printing 5 pages @ 6p = 30p
    Phone call to company to clarify brief = 20p
    Driving to/from job 10 miles @ 40p = £4
    Parking = £2
    Purchase in shop = £5
    Total expenses = £11.50

    Net profit = £13.50

    Not forgetting heating/electricity for your spare room used as an office, internet costs, camera bought to take picture of sandwich shops, scanner needed for receipts.

    Etc Etc.

    The actual tax return form is very easy to complete; the guidance notes are self explanatory.

    I know a few of you on here have done the driving license jobs for gap at the stamp shop, so can someone out there help please?!:D

    I had a phonecall from them this afternoon & as I was on the train on the way to other jobs the signal kept breaking up, but I got the gist of it - they are to be completed tomorrow morning & I can get to both places so said OK as the fees are good. The guy said he'd phone me back tonight & go through it but he hasn't, though he's put them on my job board. Looking at the paperwork they obviously have to get the Application Form to me in order to complete these - I remember some of you asking about this but didn't take much notice of the replies! I've never applied for these with not driving, but today was told that's not a problem, I could still do them.

    I can't re-schedule my end as tomorrow is the last day showing but they'll have to if they don't get back to me by early tomorrow morning - which is unlikely!

    So if anyone can give any info as to how they get the forms to me in time etc I would be grateful.:beer: I thought something may come through tonight that I could print off but nothing so far.
    ;)

    you need the application forms if its the same scenario as i had - timeline is 9-12 as well, so maybe they will send forms out special delivery before 9am tomorrow

    Bryssn, nto sure if you're going to see this before you go out and about but I was given a D3 form for both scenario 2 and 3 which you could perhaps pick up from any post office, fill in and take with you.

    On all the ones I did, soon as I asked the question, they told me the correct answer.

    Folks, is there a guide anywhere on here about tax returns for mystery shoppers? i.e how to complete them? what counts as income? what counts as expenses? Would be really helpful if there was :)

    Read page 1 of the thread. Timmne(HRW) has covered everything. Except me needing a whole box of tissues to see Marley and Me.
