    Hi
Can anyone tell me about the petrol visits, is the amount paid to cover what you have spent on petrol etc? Or, do you get reimbursed too?

    thanks
The incentive amount is all you will get, there is no additional re-imbursement. Abai actually send cash in envelopes  , a few weeks after the job. Wish the petrol jobs were near me.

Hey Moneysavers, Right I am new to the Mystery Shopping world. I finally have my first assignment next week wooo! Can I get some advise as to what I need to do, I havent yet done the tax thing....can you advise if I need to do it before the end of this tax year or would it be for next year as I wouldnt be paid until after Sunday anyways? Can you also advise me what I will need to keep afterwards etc.... I know its probably quite a long answer but its greatly appreciated!

You should technically register in the tax year that you first begin work, so if you are working before 6th April, then you should register now. But I think most people would understand if you left it until a few days later, so up to you really.

You need to keep all relevant receipts, so parking tickets, bus fares etc, anything that is an expense incurred when doing the mystery shopping job. You will also need to keep up to date records of your fees and re-imbursements.

Others will advise on tax, there is plenty of advise in the first post too. As for remembering stuff I find that writing notes on my mobile helps. People just assume that you are texting someone....
