Well I'm back from my 2 off licence shops, and not very impressed with either.
First shop didn't have any white - said it wasn't her fault, it wasn't delivered - so I got 2 bottles of Rose and she very begrudgingly allowed me to use the 40% voucher.
Second shop wouldnt let me use the voucher as it was a home-printed one and not one of the leaflets that had been put through local front doors. So I just got one bottle of wine and the chocolate.
NEITHER mentioned the 3 for £10 offer, NEITHER mentioned the chocolate offer, and the first shop wouldn't even give me a till receipt because she said my Visa slip acted as a receipt and as she had finished the transaction she couldnt print one off anyway!
So, on the whole, not very good, but the reimbursement will almost cover the cost of 3 bottles of wine so can't really complain! We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I didn't get till receipts for either of my off-licence transactions. I thought they didn't give them, and that was why we needed a credit/debit card receipt?0

That makes 4 of us with only credit card receipts so we can put on a united front if any of us are challanged!

Oh, I just used the debit card receipt. The brief said to do that. The last lot of these wine shops you had to take a photo of the wine lol! The assisgnment was invalid if you asked for a receipt.0

I forgot to take the picture and scanned in the receipt instead. RE contacted me the next day but the wine had been drunk and the bottle binned. Had to dig the bottle out and refill with "wine" from the tap and a little food colour!0

Well, I have had a good day today. Just got back from bowling with hubby & DS - the reimbursement was really good & we had two games, drinks, sweeties and burger meals
- and a fee for doing it - RE & GAP take note
.
I have also done an audit for a homeware shop this afternoon, which took just over 2 hours to do (inc the report) so not a bad fee there either :T .
It's a hard life isn't it?? Tomorrow I have got a pub drink and then another pub a couple of miles away for lunch. That's what I call a nice weekend :j . Hope you have all had a good time too xx

Hi
I have only recently started mystery shopping, ten days ago. Can anyone tell me if things have quietened down because its the end of the month? Last weekend I had quite a few assignments booked up, now I have none.
Is this just the way it goes?1373/100000 -

It may well be, I only had 5 jobs this week but although March hasn't been too bad, it has been quieter in my area than Jan & Feb. Lets hope the new budgets kick in with lots & lots of loverley jobs.
