    Hi guys
I have a question about a company called Blue Apple. I don't remember signing up with them and they are offering me a visit. Has anyone heard of them? I'm not complaining about getting offered work, just wondered what they are like to work for. Any info greatly received.

    Hi mharzuk

I'm with them. But I have only been offered 1 job at short notice, which I think came through Mystery Outsource. I was already booked and could not take it. Sorry no other contact than that.

  • Hi,

I have a job at a stamp shop tomorrow. On the brief it gives me an amount to spend but just says to buy an item from the shop. So am I OK just to spend the full amount on postage stamps? As there's nothing I need from there at the moment but they would come in handy for Ebay?

    Thanks
    Happy New Year

Its ok to just buy stamps, it seems. Make sure you spend £5 / +.

This happened to me too and I was racking my brains to think whether I'd applied to them (I hadn't and never did find out how they got my email address).

Anyway, did 2 frozen food type stores for them as remembered on here that others had worked for them and been paid ok and they were good to work for and paid fine. Just out of interest is yours for the same store, or someone else? Was wondering if they only had one customer as that's all I've been offered with them?

The assigment notes also have an odd condition - apparently you muast buy a MINIMUM of 14 stamps so don't get, for example, 5 x £1 stamps or you r job may be rejected. I've not tried it so I don't know how strict GAP are on this (but they can be a funny bunch so best not to take chances).

I think they suggest the minimum 14 stamps as that comes to just over the £5.00 (£5.04 or something - until they go up in April!)

I usually just buy the 14 now, but loads of times I've bought more as we use a lot of stamps, and I've always been paid the £5.00 OK - I just make up the difference.
