Caught up now
TAG - hugs; I can sympathise with the lack of sleep (and the weird dreams!) - not nice and gets depressing. Hope you get it sorted
The Dragon - well done :T
rosepink - hugs
mummyof5 - sounds completely normal to me
embb - hugs and prayers for you and Violet
mudbath - well done to DD (and you and her teacher!) :j
valli - nothing wrong with hanging socks on the line in pairs with matching pegs (or washing them in pairs!)
jo - hugs; what a horrid thing to happen - glad it backfired on him!
I never used to do much ironing til I joined here, hence the huge pile I had to do before New Year! Now I'm sort of keeping up with it, but do find I iron 10 things at a time (just about right for my HHI!) So that, and the matching pegs, and sorted socks, and ordered Cds and DVDs, and organised drainer, etc., etc., obviously make me perfectly saneThat right, Toots? :rotfl:

Evening everyone.
Been working today and Im really tired. Its been one of those days where you never stop. Never mind Im home now and sorted.
No real flying done tonight except feeding the cat and put the washer on.
So will just say hugs and calming vibes to all and I will catch up tomorrow.0 -
Just done online banking. Car repairs rather painful - not good when no job on the horizon!! I have come to a momentous decision....
Sell 2 beautiful (and well known) handbags  *sobs gently in corner*
I haven't used e-bay for a while - or done any on line auctions. Is e-bay still the best place to sell??
Also (forgot who, sorry!) a flylady recently sold a WM on e-bay - I have a dutch bike and french day bed to sell - would ebay be the best place, as they are large items and I 'aint delivering!!
....back to topic....I have done windowsills and windows, dewebbed (not polished, as kitchen doesn't like it...) degunged fridge, wiped appliances and units, and (hurrah!) didn't have any cluttered drawers So, I think that's - wait for it -Mon L3 ALL DONE!!!!
:A FLY FIRST, KNIT LATER :A0 -
:ASounds perfectly sane to me Froddington
Well, I am whacked, did all my list this morning, then went to town and back in 45 mins (considering I caught the bus and it takes 15 mins to town thats quite good) dropped 2 large bags at charity shop.picked up some mince and caught the same bus home.:rotfl:
Then I changed all my bedroom round and half cleared a huge built in wardrobe of clutter ,now have 3 black sacks full of shoes and stuff for the charity shop (they love me in there).
Moved LOs cot to the other side of the room ,my bed to a different wall and 2 chest of drawers to different places, hoovered Everywhere, places I cant normally reach,so it is really deep cleaned now, damp dusted and put everything back in place.
Will just need to change bedding and wash windows when it is bedroom day.
Next big job on list is to move all LOs clothes into this built in cupboard and so free up the wardrobe at the top of the stairs for DD2s clothes.:eek:
Hugs to everyone and well done to what everyone has achieved today.Feeding 6 Adults 1 Teen a 8 year old with hollow legs and a very fussy 5 year old. Also 3 cats and 3 fishies

I do have ordered CDs and DVDs, always paired up socks (think my mum must've drummed this into me!), but I never Iron.... I've posted this pic before but we've a few newbies since then!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Toots - glad you got cuddles with Toxic's GS. A 7 month old to hug is wonderful. And the Users were fine in the end. But it was a busy, busy day. The first two hours were frantic (from 7.30am - 9.30am) Then there was a big lull of nothingness. Which was worse, in a way, after all the scurrying to finalise things. Things then hotted up again about 3pm and I have a lot of stuff to do tomorrow but, in the end, it seems to have been a success.
Jo - glad you've won that round with the bloke at work. Now you know he's an enemy, you can be prepared xxx
Rach - I know where you're at job wise and send you big coping and opportunity/promotion vibes.Your girlie weekend sounds lovely. And do take a boat trip on the Thames for me. Although I hate London, I do love the river there. Actually, thinking about it, there's a photo I need of a particular spot of the embankment for my book. Could I be really cheeky and ask if you're there, could you take it and email it to me? I'd give you full credit! (This is desperation - I'm doing ANYTHING to avoid having to go up there again!). PS - thank you for reminding me of the ironing diagram - I forgot how much I love it!
But, I'm off to bed any moment now. I am beat.
Have a wonderful evening ladies and gents and all sleep tight and deep and wellI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Mummyof5 - I take it, from your journey time, you're hitting Vallitown itself then?
We might even dump unwanted goods and chattels at the same charity shop (I am thinking of the future hence Help the Aged :rotfl:)
I have ironed today's wash and must check the forecast for tomorrow as I might do even more. The barometer in Valli Towers is set fair though, which bodes well.
Snotty letter written to CC provider as they never made the balance transfer and now owe me money. This is DEFINITELY flying as it's an extra, but necessary chore (and I do write a good letter, even if I says so myself)
 at the pic of Rach and her OH in their creased clothing :rotfl:
Oh - and I went all the way back to work cos I left my handbag there  and I had to let myself in, in the dark, because my kids wouldn't come with me and I don't like being in there on my own in the daylight tbh:o:o:o - hate it at night - still remembered to take a torch and check the alarm code so that I didn't set it off -again:cool:
Mind you - if you think I'm bad...I have a friend who HANDWASHED HER CHILDRENS CLOTHES UNTIL THEY GREW UP AND LEFT HOME...her house is immaculate.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
