Well, today I have put the WM on, not even emptied it yet, and drained a saucepan of rice.

Am feeling a bit better now DH has fed me, so might be able to wash up later and will definately try to hang out the washing.

Embb, sorry to hear about Violet, she sounds like a lovely lady.

BTW, I'm at the opposite end of the ironing scale, I only ever iron tops if I really really can't get away with not ironing it. Even DH's shirts don't get ironed. If he needs them ironed he asks his mum to do it! My excuse is that we don't have room here to set the ironing board up!

Good evening all, back from DD's class and caught up with the thread, you all sound like you have had busy days. Since I got back, I have put DD to bed to watch a DVD, got the dog in and fed him, and had a small bowl of the casserole/ stew thing I made earlier, it was ok but lacking "something"??.
Got washing on the line that needs to be brought in and a few dishes to wash(sliced my thumb on the knife earlier when doing the spuds, so a bit weary about puuting my hand in the water!!!, after slicing it, I went to put some salt on my fish lunch and forgot about the cut, owowowowow!!!!)

Ironig, it seems will wait till tomorrow!!!!!

Not a fantastic flying day today, as I started a parenting course this morning, left the house early and not back til lunchtime, then off to work at 3pm. Having said that, OH did phone me to tell me how nice the place looked when he got in from work :D

Kazwookie - on the topic of your lettuces breaking ground (which must be a lovely sight to behold :D ) are they easy to grow? I'm am a complete and utter gardening novice, but I SO long to grow veg. Maybe I should head over to the gardening forum. Does one even exist? Oh, and I see on the map you're in the land of Milk n Beans? I grew up there, and though I left 5 yrs ago, I still go back every month to visit Mum, family, friends etc. I miss it so much! :(
If you have good thoughts, they'll shine out of your face like sunbeams & you'll always look lovely.
