Just got back from getting car fixed. Took it in this morning, because the lock had broken - had to order new part, arrived this afternoon. Car had been vibrating (no rabbits present...) so I asked them to check it. Turns out one of the tyres was bent out of shape and needed replacing (stoopid friends living down stoopid bridleways!
)...so bill came to £127  . Got old tyres for potatoes....
And no flying, as out all day....so I am off to get to it now. Kitchen is in a bit of a state, so need to do it before I can cook anything! Self imposed deadline for completion...7pm.
One consolation is weather has been lovely, so spent the day at various tearooms with friends!:A FLY FIRST, KNIT LATER :A0 -

sexymouse - show off!
Mind you, I did everything but the windows and woodwork today so half an hours work and I will be finished too. Work tomorrow so that pans out nicely. I need to think how I can expand the daily lists to ensure that the whole house gets done, rather than one bedroom every few weeks, etc. Sticking to the lists means that those rooms and jobs are really well done but that other bits are getting neglected.
Thanks Toots, mostly lost it through running and exercise bike so pleased with myself - shame I have another two stone to lose, and stupidly high blood pressure again today.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Hello W, is that you? Have you had a nice day today? What have you been up to?
Thanks Mozzy, I hope he was ok in th end. I was worried that he was going to get run over, or had wondered away from home. You hear such stories don't you.
MO4, really glad th mum of the girl came round, having to apologize will hopefully teach that girl a lesson, and your lad responded really well! He sounds great!
Toots, you do so well with all your problems. When are you having your muscle treatment? You are an inspiration!
Here's what I've done so far, will try to do some more later. Am feeling a bit sleepy after my nap, but this place is driving me mad as it's so messy! Am really pleased DH is going to do some clearing up on Thurs, he creates so much mess it's only fair that he helps out occasionally. He has been especially bad lately, and I've started handing his discarded beercans/cereal boxes/junk to him as it's not that hard to put them in the recycling/bin/tidy away! I think th message is seeping into his brain!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."
