Morning folks.
Many thanks for all your thoughts last night.
Grandson is 18 months old, the Dr at the hospital 'think' he has picked up a viral infection, but they did test for mengngitius (sp) and others, none of which he has, thank goodness. His temp came down so they let him out last night and he is back at other relations about 40 miles away and OH'd daughter, husband, & gs will travel home today, instead of yesterday afternoon.
Many thanks again all of you, I really do feel the support.
Off to read the thread, well at least some of it.
Floors have been done this morning but that is all.
Update:- OH has had text from his daughter, gs slept well and is currently eating a banana that he wanted, daughter is waiting to see if it stays down.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Depending on where and when, I might be interested.

Morning all

hi all,
Well plumber didnt turn up, water still trickling through the ceiling and landlord isnt answering the phone. If I get my own plumber he wont pay for call out, I have to go through him apparently. Not a happy bunny. There are now brown outlines all over the ceiling and its started dripping in a third spot.
Cas, I'm sure that you can legally contact a plumber and charge it back to the Landlord if they've failed to sort something as drastic as that out - I remember something like that from my letting days but can't remember it all - http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/HomeAndCommunity/BuyingAndSellingYourHome/LettingYourHome/DG_4001391 might help...
If he won't pay for your plumbers call out, get him to give you the number of his plumber so at least you have a contact...
Good luck.LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

Oooooh thankyou for that! I shall just have to work out which is the Yesterday channel.
Shields - are you north or south? I've had a couple of holidays up there (traipsing the graveyards - one branch of my ancestors came from Craster) and the coastline is spectacular. I could happily move up there tomorrow.
Glad you found it it was on waaaaay too late for me normally but it was such a good one I stayed up *yawns* I'm regretting it now lol. I'm in South Shields and I love it, my aunty always says she's gonna move up here too everytime she comes up lol. will find a pic for spud bags but wont be till later.
