    Not too bad embb, thanks. The Dr said not to worry about the moles unless they keep getting bigger. The fact he has pale blonde hair makes them much more noticeable. He agreed with keeping him off yesterday as Tom was diagnosed with HSP a couple of years ago. It's when the white blood cells attack the body in reaction to a cold. It causes a rash that looks like menegitus and leads to other complications eg: It could cause liver damage etc but Tom hasn't had an attack for a couple of years so we have been lucky. But because of it we are a little over protective of him. He does get major headaches which wipe him out and this is ever since the HSP attack. He's only 7 :(

    I just drag my OH along too, he's very obliging and quite tall so takes loads of great photos. He's now seen Bon Jovi 4 times with me:o (I've been 7 times:D )
    My friends at work have fairly similar tastes, however i was sitting with uni friends at lunch today and there was a picture of Bruce Springsteen and Steven Van Zandt in the paper and i mentioned i had tickets to see them. Met with a resounding chorus of 'Who?':rolleyes: I felt very old!

    I have a little list left:

    Richie Sambora on a solo tour
    Bob Seger
    BB King
    Aerosmith
    The Eagles(they are playing up here too but i'm on holiday, booooo)

    Now I really feel old - I saw The Eagles in the States in 1976 (their back up band was Fleetwood Mac:eek: )

    But I have managed to hang out 3 lots of washing which were washed last night (and not a single pink or blue peg used - sorry):D

    Morning Lovelies, :hello:

    Firstly.... Dusty ((((huge hugs)))) I'm so sorry to hear your news. It must have been a horrible shock for you, even though you knew it was on the cards. Your lovely Nan lived to a good old age, and mercifully her passing was quick. But nonetheless, it still must be so hard. My thoughts are with you and yours. :( I loved what you said about how she would have approved of Flyladies... :) that really made me smile! (((hugs))) again.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I've been up since 6.30. Two washing lines full pegged out. (giggling when I used odd pegs) Coffee brewed and drunk. Dog fed, facebook played with. I do not like the new layout. bah!
    I have three 12yr olds in my LR. So I am in bed! DD1's birthday sleepover has been good. We took them out for a curry last night. The girls sat by themselves and me and OH sat nearby, but left them to it. I was so proud of them, confidently ordering their food. They behaved really well, if a little giggly, but hey, they're 12!!!!
    Rant on
    Moan at rubbish parents moment... Tell me what you think of this.
    One of the girls arrived by herself. Neither of her parents have spoken to me about this sleep over. They don't even know it is a sleepover at her friend's house, she could be anywhere. They've never met me, or spoken to me on the phone before. Yet they let their 12yr old come by herself, and stay over night somewhere they don't even know!!!!!!!!!
    I had to get the phone number from the girl, and call her mother to arrange what time she was going home in the morning!!! She sounded really surprised when I called her, and said she just thought her daughter was coming home by herself when she was ready. :mad:
    Is it me??? I would NEVER let my 12 yr old go and stay somewhere I didn't at least :
    1) have the address
    2 ) have spoken to the parents
    3) have contact details
    4) have been inside the house!!!
    GGGRRRRRRRRR!!!! :mad: :mad: Rant off
    DD2 & 3 were dispatched to grandma's new caravan for the night. We're going to drive out there later to have lunch and pick them up. Looking forward to that. It's beautiful here today.
    Going to update my lists, after my blast around the house yesterday pre-guest arrival, I'm sure I must have completed a few!
    Pigpen-thanks for the weekend list.
    SS :eek: I can't believe those parents. Think I will still be checking on DS and DD when they are 18 but I would certainly say 12 is too young. Especially as they haven't even spoken to you. How would they know that she got to the restaurant safely
    I have a bag of paperwork from Nan's to look at too and want to write a list of people to contact on Monday. I still have the news to break to the youger 2 yet as well.
    Morning Dusty
    Have a hug for when you have to tell your children about Nan. This might be useful, I posted it on the What to do when a partner/spouse dies thread. It originally started as a result of Stormy's thread but a lot is relevant to a lot of situations. HTH
    Looks to be another nice day here, swimming lessons for Miss A & W this morning and then I thikn we are going to look for fencing! Our fence needs replacing, it has remained standing on a wing and a prayer I think :rotfl:DH and I were going to replace it so that gives you an idea how long, I have been putting it off due to the cost. Trouble is I want some nice panels and they will not be cheap so will have to see what compromise ones I can get.
