Hello newbies, our official meeter and greeter is off ill at the mo, but hopefully Pigpen will spot you. Try putting a Christmas Tree in your post - you find it when you click on the 'more' under the smilies and then maximise the page.
I'm sure you will love it here, my house has been transformed since joining! We are all very friendly too, despite demolishing that woman on the thread I posted earlier!

Oh furking flippety floppety foo. I think BB has managed to knock one of her stitches out. There's a bit of an open wound and some blood on a cushion.

It's off to the vet again in the morning for another stitch and a lampshade

    And more washing...

Soappie, not giving medical advice but I did a dog first aid course through a rescue I used to support (with a vet) on a more regular basis, incase we couldn't get a vet out/them to one straight away and were cut/grazed/bitten. They told us to use a neutral PH nappy cream like Savlon/Sudocrem as an antiseptic cream on open wounds if we didn't have woof antiseptic and bathing in salt water (1 teaspoon/1pint water) Hope all goes ok at vets.

Charliee done re facebook request, but has been quiet on there

SunnyGirl - this is going to get rather confuzing, different avatars would help.

Study break, still awaiting email from tutor of my course to make sure I am on right track, sent it a few days ago, so still wondering if I am getting it right. She's cancelled tutorials too which were planned because of lack of attendance. Seems a bit useless.....
One day I might be more organised...........

Thanks Lil-me - I don't have savlon/sudocreme but I do have salt and water. She's fine in herself - couldn't wait to get dinner. Not hot or anything but she's weeping a little bit of blood from the end of the wound where she must have knocked the stitch out (she was scratching, I said no and she stopped but the damage was probably already done)- not masses of blood but enough to stain. I think she can wait until the morning.

The cushion cover has been rinsed with cold water and is fine again. Just need to sort out the spots on my duvet

My boys refer to Sudocream as 'magic cream' as I have always put it on them :D

Off for a bath now then sitting down for my weekly lust at NCIS ;);)

Valli - no, I don't have those steristrip things. I have an old fashioned first aid box. Plasters, triangular bandages - that sort of thing. It's not gushing, it's weeping. It can wait until the morning. I shall just spend the night with a cloth and a bowl of cold water mopping up....
