  • Hi flyers

Washing in off the line and winterdyke. WM and TD still giving it big licks. DS2 will be back from storykeepers no doubt trying badly to hide something for mothers day!!! I need to practise shocked look!!!!!!!

Dusty the council here only gave me 7 days to empty my mum's house when she passed away. Not easy when she had lived in the same house for 30 years. I thought it was a bit quick so I had to pay rent for the extra time I needed. It was so hard for me. I just cried the whole time. She had kept every receipt from her wedding, the top off the wedding cake and my christening cake. Thinking of you and your family Dusty.

Toots hope you are feeling OK I've been thinking about you today

Is there a weekend list this week?

FFP that is so sad hun, I hope you had some support and was not all alone.

I feel emotionally drained this evening and am planning an earlyish night. I'd like to go now but think I'll then be awake at 2:00am again.

Dusty - I know how hard it is to go back to the home of someone you've just lost. It will remain hard. I guess it's even harder because you have to clear it within a deadline which you don't yet know. It's nice that two of your boys are with your Mum tonight. That'll help your Mum.

What I would do, if I were you is go and buy a nice evergreen bush or something this weekend and plant it in the garden and name it with your Nan's first name. I still have a peace lily indoors which has moved with me over the years and which is named Margaret after my Mum.

    Big hugs

So sorry to hear your news Dusty, my thoughts are with you and your family.

Not had a chance to do much flying, been busy with uni, need to go do an assignment now.

Hugs to all that need them.

Hello :hello: Can I join in the flylady thread please? I follow flylady using the control journal that I made ages ago but, on my own, it's very easy to *just not open it* :o and pretend that it doesn't matter. Having read your posts on the peg thread I think I'll be amongst like minded people :rotfl: I'll probably not get back on the computer until tomorrow morning as DS2 is making lots of 'it's my time on the computer now Mum' noises - serves me right I suppose for insisting on a timetable to stop arguments ;)

I look forward to 'talking' to you all tomorrow especially the other Sunnygirl I've seen posting on here - I've gone for the capital 'G' in the middle :D if it helps plus Sunnygirl will be much better at all of this than I am I would imagine! Off for a bath now then sitting down for my weekly lust at NCIS ;);)
