  • Hi everyone hope you are all OK.

Dusty thoughts and prayers with you.

Not a great deal of flying going on here apart from my dailies. I have started to tackle Ben Washing but it doesn't even look like a hill yet:eek: With the weather being so nice I have been sorting the garden out so the kids can play safely. Will try to catch up tomorrow and I can get the boys to do their room by themselves at 12 and 10 they should be anyway.

Love and hugs to all who need them.

I would have went over to help Emily but I don't know anything about pegs! Still trying to work out why the should be made of wood?????????:rotfl:

I've tried to work that one out too - whenever I have had wooden pegs - they have always marked my clothes!!! Plastic ones never do that - Ive yet to phatom why anyone would rather have wooden pegs - but then, I know nothing much about the world of laundry and am clearly missing something here!!!

I iron at little as possible and shock horror  I even put my duvet covers on the bed UNIRONED!!! :D Its never done me any harm yet.

Can some one please pick Valli up off the floor......I think she may have just injured herself....... sorry! xx

LikkleGibbon, I don't understand how the taps could turn themselves on? Also, sounds like you have a superintellligent builder!

AlwaysHappy, I'm pleased that your colleague and boss care about you and want to sort out the bullying problem. I know you might be worried that the bully will make your life harder as a result, but it sounds like your boss is on your side which will make all the difference. No one likes a bully and as far as I'm concerned they need to be stood up to. Once they know you aren't gonna take it, they will stop cos they are cowards. (Sorry, I feel quite strongly about this after major problems with a colleague once. She bullied people til they left the company or moved dept, and she was our boss's pet so could get away with anything. I stood up to her which caused major ructions, but then things got tons better because she started to respect me.)

FFPrincess, I know what you mean about the washing mountain! I think pegs have to be made of wood as it's more natural.

My support worker just took me for a walk which was fab! She couldn't have picked a better day! I feel a bit shaky now, but proud of myself, and I'm going to watch ER as my reward and find some food.

Flyingwise, I plan to strip the bed and put dry washing up away and dry washing and start a new load.

What ever next starting a thread off about pegs!:rotfl:

Went home at lunch time, put out washing, fed the cats yet again, walked next door's doggie, they are back in 2 weeks, I cannot believe how quick their 10 week holiday has gone.

I just hope their daughter (30!!) who lives at home, tidies up, and hoovers before they get back the house is an utter mess!

I would offer to help her, but she made the mess and is quite able bodied, just very very lazy!

Any way I have my own flying to do

  • Morning ladies

I sorry to tell you all that Nan passed away this morning. She was 89 so had had a long life. It is definitely the best thing for her and whilst not a shock is harder than I thought it would be.

Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts and wishes. Nan always kept a beautiful house with not a speck of dust, she'd have approved of flyladies.

Haven't posted much this week so have missed a lot of what's going on but have just seen this and wanted to say Dusty, how sorry I was to hear of the loss of your Nan. I remember how I felt when I lost my Nan and although she was old (93) it was hard to come to terms with. I'm sure you have many wonderful memories of her and hope that they will give you and your family some comfort in the coming days and weeks. ((((hugs)))))

  • Hi all, have been doing most of my flying outside this week as the garden was in woeful need of assistance :D and it's been glorious :j

Thought I'd look at my lists and see if I'd managed a star or two and was pleasantly surprised. Just got to do kitchen windows/sills and then will get one for Monday too which is great cos have been feeling a tad guilty for spending so much time outside.

I ordered one of the Life Books - pocket size - from organizedmum and am in the process of filling it in and transfering stuff from calendar - think it's going to be a big help as I am really disorganized and forget things alot:o

((((((((Hugs)))))))))) to all who need them - have no hope of catching up with thread - sorry if I have missed anything important.
