  • Hi

Many thanks for all your replies.
It was my fault as I didn't realise all new customers do get the 0% for 14 months. It threw me abit when I saw the 17.9% apr as I was expecting it to say about the introductory offer.

We called Tesco this morning and they confirmed we do get the introductory offer of 0% for 14 months which we are more than happy with.

    Many thanks again

This looks like an acceptance to me. :D ( Well Done )

How many searches do you have on your file?

    What CRA did they search?
That's a refer so it could decline later I am afraid.

Thanks Kavanne - thought it was, i've had loads of them ranging from £500 limit to £6700 limit but they never materialise if they go to southend on sea for decision.....

If they are underwritten by Tesco and not RBS then it may go through....

so how do you know its a refer, apart from being an ex employee? what is the giveaway sign? The reference at the end?

Thing is, in my previous natwest/rbs applications I never had option to agree to cca and tick the box etc - that's different cos this time it allowed me to do this.....

    Any ideas?

    thanks again

It says they need further checks. That's a refer. And AIP would be 'your application has been accepted, blah blah blah', I can't remember the exact wording

And I believe tesco have recently introduced electronic signatures :)

thanks for valuable info..... so AIP = agreement in principle? Ive had these with Natwest but later declined. Cos I applied for 6 accounts in 3 months they put a 6mth block on me and I think i'm only like 7 weeks into this hahahahah - so is it underwritten in southend do you know, by the RBS lot or do tesco have their own guys/dept with different systems?

yeah, an agreement in principle. It's still not guaranteed to go through at that stage, you could still be declined but i hope it does get agreed for you! :D

Had the agreement in principle first time I applied for bank account with natwest, then under options it offered a loan and savings and credit card. I declined loan, declined overdraft and went through savings and credit card. set up standing order to pay £500 per month into new saving account and completed credit card and got the thanks we are pleased to agree in principle etc.....

    Then they wrote rejecting me.

I dont think this will go through if it has anything to do with rbs systems
