  • it seems to default to the next size/colour available when the size /colour you want is sold out :confused:

Thanks but I was wondering if it's a glitch as for example I tried to order the ladies hush puppies. They have red black and beige and lots of sizes but have tried every option and it keeps happening - shame!

Hello, this is my first post & its a warning to anyone who got the error message on the outlet site. I tried several times to do an order, stupid I know, but I did! The first attempt was late Wednesday night & went into Thursday morning because the site was so slow.
To cut a very long story short I emailed customer services on Friday & got a reply confirming that they've no trace of any order from me. So I tried again, today I checked my goldfish account online & studio outlet have debited my card £76 on the 23rd! I've e-mailed again as I'm worried as to how much more they might take. I've had no cofirmation e-mails & theres no orders showing on my account.
So if anyone got the error message I would keep checking your card accounts in case payment is taken more than once.
I too joined this site to save money but keep finding bargains I have to have, maybe I'll learn my lesson this time!

not received anything yet but i don't think it's been a long wait so far i only orederedon the February 23 tho, i'd expect deleivery by next wed/thurs before i started to wonder, maybe i'm just laid back but i feel paying by CC i should be covered in the event of none received goods and be able to claim the money back in this event.

Checked online and order is all present and correct so so far so good

  • a little warning to people, placed my second order today and as previous posted stated the site crashed just as i had placed my cc details said somthing like "Oops there has been a problem with your order blah blah" so thoght i would try it again later, have just checked my email and my order has been placed and cc debited  so beware you may end up ordering more than you thought if you assume the order has not been accepted

I know what you mean about the delivery. I think whatever company they use will allow more than one attempt before the parcel is considered undeliverable but I wouldn't fancy a £5 'fine' :-(
Yeah they just mean if the courier keep trying to deliver and never get you in and return the package to studio they'll charge the fine. (most courier services give you a few attempts or a week or so to pick it up from them)

I dont know if anyone else has noticed this but instead of saying 'we have over 600 offers online' it now says 'we have over 1000 offers online'. No big deal i know but im starting to wonder if this site is for real or not. Also what is really making me wonder is the fact that we have all ordered lots of stuff from this site and yet everything that was in stock originally is still in stock and in some cases there are items now available that wasnt before (not new items but colour/size combinations of previously out of stock items).

Surely with the amount of stuff being ordered and at the prices they are going for a lot of items i would have thought would now be unavailable.

Thats my thoughts anyway. What does anyone else think?

dont think youve got any wories there jaxxy00, see my previous post. ive done a bit of digging on this site - the firm behind it is called Express Gifts and they also run the Studio catlogue shops, they are owned by a plc called Findel who turn over 450m a year! no wonder they can sell stuff so cheap!! - have a look at http://www.findel.co.uk. when the GF ordered she had to sign up to verified by visa and the form had HSBC on it so the cc pay side is pukka. the only thing to worry about is its new so theres bound to be a few teehing problems but i think ure moneys safe - IMHO of course!! :money:
