I did indeed manage to sweet talk him, well i sucked up by making him a coffee first

I explained that the school wont take him unless i go. And that im sorry, but i have to go I will just have to try and catch up on my hours in the evening at home. I just never seem to have the engery though to do more work once Joes in bed.

Need to get more motivated :rotfl:

Did the school say they won't take him unless you go?! Surely that's not right? I work in a school, am a TA in Y1 and we would never say a child couldn't come on a trip unless their parent would come - it's our responsibility to ensure the child is looked after properly and will be able to participate like all the other children, even if it means using a TA from another class for that day.

Yep, head told me that she wouldnt dream of taking Joe without me coming.

I do understand considering his recent behavour and now that they know he is asd. I just hope that he will get a statement though for his own TA. Its not that i dont want to go, i dont mind, but im not going to help the class, im going to just help Joe. Which singles him out even more, but if i dont go it singles him out. Either way he will feel different.

Its all just part of life, hey ho.

Edit : the reason i was angry was that they told Joe first, without even asking me!

Im so pleased its Friday!

All DD's have been paid now as well as credit cards.

Its the Beaver trip tomorrow - 9am - 6.30pm so ive got to sort a packed lunch for me and munch. Dads GF is coming as well as Joe does not like to share me with other kids so im going to do her some sarnies too. Will nip to tescos tonight and get some bits.

I think that once Joe is in bed im going to run a really nice bath and relax with a glass of wine as a treat.

Morning,

Im so rubbish!!! Didnt get to tescos last night, got home at 6.30 and just couldnt face going back out. So thought id get up at 6 this morning and go then, come back and get the sarnies ready.

Well alarm didnt go off til 7! Id set the stupid thing wrong. So im left with having to buy our lunch. Will be ok just not very MSE.

So we will be leaving soon, should be a good day. Dads GF is coming too, so it should all be ok. Joe is really looking forward to it, even though he has a hacking cough. Hes not a 100% but is insisting he goes. So hes had some cough medicine and hes wrapped up well, i even made him put on a vest! First time this winter. At least im there so i can keep an eye on him.

Well, i surived Saturday. We didnt get in til nearly nine! Joe was shattered and so was I! But Joe to bed, poured a glass of wine and fell asleep on the sofa! Didnt even get to drink it, lol.

Im glad i went as Joes behavour was dreadful. He decided to have a fight with the leader. I never have had that behavour when its just me and Joe on a day out. But im glad i saw it.

Have thursday's school trip to look forward to now! lol.

Didnt manage to do much yesterday, just caught up on some housework etc. Still loads for me to do tonight though. Money is ok at the moment so thats all good.

Life is so full of ups and downs at the moment. ASD thing hasnt really sunk in yet i dont think.

Had a call at 5 telling me there was a school trip into town tomorrow, i just cant go, and neither can my dad. Childminder has a baby to look after. I feel horrid telling Joe he cant go. But i cant do anything about it. Boss has been really good so far and i dont want to push it so to speak. There are times where i wished i worked for a big company. Sigh...........

Anyway, enough of my moans, off to re heat the jacket pots i baked yesterday with the left over beans and cheese.

Warning - Im still moaning!

I just do not seem to have any time. I need another 24 hrs in the day. Ive been asked to stay at work until 6 tonight - which if i dont do i wont get home until 6.30 as i do not have a lift home. And if i do stay i will get a lift home, which means i will get home at about 6.40. So i might as well stay.

This morning was just hell, I had to ask Joe 6 times to put his school jumper on, before having to dress him myself. I give us an hour and 20 mins to get ready in the mornings but we always seem in such a rush. Joe is also still having a really hard time at school. And to be honest im dreading the school trip, if he acts the same way as he did on the beaver trip, it will just be hell. I know he cant help it, but im at loss with how to deal with it all. He still needs to know there are boundries etc. Im looking forward to the ASD course so i can learn more about the way he thinks etc.

I am also really thinking about going part time at the moment. I just cant do it all. Im working over 40 hours a week, all i do is work / go home / cook / Joes book / bed and then start it all again. Im so worn out at the moment. I just want a tidy flat when i get home, but there is always something to do.

I know its just life but im struggling at the moment. Joe also has homework Mon / Tue / Weds and Thursdays which needs to be handed in on Friday. Its so hard finding that extra hour to sit with him and go through, esp if its english as then its twice as long. I just dont know how other parents manage to fit it all in

And its just not that, i feel so lonely sometimes and today is one of those days. I am really fed up of being single. Its been 4 years now and ive really had enough of it. I even tried dating sites a while ago but got nothing but idiots, they were either married or triple my age.

The only good thing so far is that im still sticking to my budgets

Hello!

Ok, been mega busy over the last week. There is still not enough hours in the day! But we are getting there.

Budget as gone awol at the moment and i have exactly £3.97 left! Need to look at my statement and see where its gone. Usually i would use a credit card at times like these, but i cant cause ive chopped them all up, lol. We will survive though. We have enough food etc so thats all good.

Ive been looking at old accounts like pigsback etc, i transfered £1.90 from top cash back. But need to get into the swing of doing those daily again.

Need to get back on with the day!
