I feel YUK! So tired and im still in PJs. Really need to get moving soon. Not that ive got any real plans today.

I sent an email to the eye q people asking for a sample of one of the other flavours and that came through today along with a tiny free sample of simple sun cream so that cheered me up. Free bits for nothing is always good!

I just wish i wasnt so tired on a saturday. I need more sleep lol. Anyway off to get this flat tidy again, and then if it stops raining hopefuly get out to the park for a while. Going to check the cupboards for anything that could go on ebay and try and get that sorted tonight once munckin is in bed.

    Hello all,

I cheered up over the weekend, started tidy and just got it done. Had dinner at dads on Saturday, saving me cooking and more washing up!

Dads off this week so no free lifts and double train fare, but it’s not too bad.

Ive picked up the free Lego toys for Joe. He won’t be getting them until Xmas. They are going to go into Joes Xmas eve hamper. I usually let him open one present on Xmas eve, pjs and slippers. But this year im going to pop in a few other bits into a Ben 10 storage box including a nice xmas DVD and snowman soup so we can open it early xmas eve and have a snuggle up on the sofa.

Talking of Joe Ive still not painted his room, I just can’t seem to get the energy together, my dad has said he will come round and help get it done one night this week. Im also hoping to get an off cut of carpet for the hallway on pay day. It’s only £5 but would sort part of the hallway. Its chilly and having some sort of flooring would help.

Im trying to keep the heating on as low as possible. It’s just getting Joe into PJs rather than boxers, lol. I keep telling him it’s not summer. The fleeces have been washed and are out. But the only one who seems to be using them is the cat!

Ive also had the HA people. There has been a huge mess up with my rent. Im somehow in arrears even though Ive not missed any payments. £600s worth. Im not impressed at all so have had to up the DD to £600 a month. It will clear the arrears within 3 months. Just a pain it had to happen now.

Still not done much on eBay. The book I won went on there on Saturday so im hoping that it sells for more than 99p! Its £4.50 on Amazon so fingers crossed.

I also need to get a pumpkin to carve out with Joe this week. Tescos are doing them for a £1 so will get one then!

    Morning!

I am a very lucky girl. My dad came round yesterday while i was at work and painted Joes room! So I was a bit naughty and spent £8 on pizzas, garlic bread, colsaw and pot salad for dinner last night as dad and his GF was there. Oh and an extra £1.50 on a pumpkin, yet to be carved!

Joes room now really needs a carpet as the old one looks horrid. My dad rekons i could get a piece of carpet for £50  My dads GF is also going to paint Ben 10 on one of the walls this weekend so im hoping that his room will look really good. Ive given her £10 as she needs to buy some paint, she said a £10 would be enough as she is just going to get tester pots. Once its done i will post a pic. Im already happy that the wardrobe looks better painted. Need to do the bed, but ran out of gloss and that was nearly a tenner a pot

The hallway at home is just a mess though, half of Joes room is in it! Will take me a while to sort out. Need to decide if i can get a piece of carpet or not

    :confused::confused::confused:
  • Could you buy a cheap rug to cover enough of the carpet. Should work out cheaper and warmer as he will have 2 floor coverings

    Morning,

Was checking the bank online and nmy wages have gone in early, (thought they might :) )

So at the moment im £1310.10 better off. I dont know why it never seems that much :o

Havent even look at this months budget so will get onto that asap.

Still struggling with Friday, part pof me wants to go, but i really cant my dads away today and wont be back until late and it seems really unfair to ask my dad when i know he is going to be shattered. Plus it will cost a fortune as it always does. It will end up being at least £50 and that £50 could pay for Joes carpet and i wouldnt end up with a hangover :rotfl: Ive got a card in the cupboard i can give her, just need to think of a small pressie  hmmmm, oh dear just seen the time, must go!

Just a thought, you won't need the rug to go under the bed or other furniture and it doesn't need to go all the way to the edge of the room. This way the rug is smaller and hopefully cheaper.
