    Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

  • Hi All

Well, have *finally* drawn my tenner out of the bank - spent £4.06 on 2 bottles of coke (one for tomorrow), a box of six creme eggs (I'll do my best to share them with the family....:rotfl: ) and a newspaper. Leaves me with £5.94 for lunch tomorrow, I'm supposed to be eating out with a colleague tomorrow, so guess it'll be soup of the day :D !

PointyPenguin - yesterday I bought monthlies, cotton buds and shampoo - things I usually get on the shopping budget, so I think that's ok!

Fingers crossed I can make it to the end of the week.

  • 35p on a packet of crisps (when will I learn? From the shop though, not vending machine ones), taking me to £9.91 and making that my absolute last spend of the week.

I've just had to cancel lunch with a friend in favour of a Dr's appointment. Is it very wrong of me to be secretly pleased? I can now look forward to my third NSD this week!! Yay!

  • £1.90 for lunch again today and £3.50 for dance class. Hoping not to spend anymore money today or tomorrow as I have to do both my jobs tomorrow.

So much for my NSD :( I forgot that with the Dr's comes a precription, lol. It's been so long I nearly fainted when told I had to pay £7.10. Would have been cheaper to go to lunch!

Ah well, tis nearly the end of the week and the start of a new budget. I'm stuck in the office all day tomorrow so I know I'll have to bring in lunch and hopefully get my NSD then instead.

Has everyone had a good day?

I suck at this Budget lark!!

Last night I broke the bank by venturing in to M & S. I spent £9.45 on Mum's Mother's Day Card and part of her birthday present (damn the woman for having them one day after the other!!). I was pleased that I got away with only spending £9.45, but added to the rest of the week's spends it's not looking so good.

Total spend this week of £22.25. For today and tomorrow I absolutely refuse to spend any cash, and in light of this have chucked my purse to the back of my wardrobe!! It's gonna take a whole lot of effort to climb in there and find it :rotfl:

How has everyone else done this week?
